Anyone watched it yet? I did and I must say, this is one of the best animated movies I've ever seen. I knew that the director of this movie also worked on The Nightmare Before Christmas (not Tim Burton) so I knew it would be good. You might think it's a bit childish but it really isn't.
She/Coraline thinks that her dream comes true but it turns out to be a freaking nightmare.

Take a look at this trailer:

I give it a 9 out of a 10. Maybe the best movie I've seen this year.

little edit:

This quality of this vid is not so good but it tells more about the story and it looks alot darker. SO WATCH BOTH! xD

I like animation movies and I watch as well as enjoy pretty much every movie of Pixar or Dreamworks. Though I doubt that I can enjoy an animated non-comedy movie and this doesn't look like it's gonna be a comedy.

However concidering the fact I absolutaly LOVE as good as all Disney classics I may give this one a chance.

In your opinion. And it's not about the animation it's about the story and the mood it can give you.

And games are in fact also animations.

It's kinda like alice in wonderland. It gives you that weird feeling as you watch it.

Alice was nice and this "weird" feeling/atmosphere is the keypoint for Caroline. If it can create such a great atmosphere that fits in I'll definately watch it.
Yet the Trailer don't look that great to me though I like the music so far and for a movie like this musiv is absolutaly essential like for most animated movies.

I know, a 2 minutes trailer is just too short for this movie. ;)
Atleast it gave me the Alice feeling. Just when you're comfortable with the whole thing it's gonna turn it all into a nightmare, and that's kinda what happens in Alice. Although I find Alice in Wonderland creepy at the beginning.

I watched The Lion King yesterday at uni, and learned all about it's racist/fascist undertones.
I also suspect scar is a closet homosexual, most disney villians are actually.

Just ruining some disney films for ya. :P

I can't check the trailer as I'm at work, but I enjoy all Pixar movies and like some Dreamwork ones.
I also enjoy comedies the most, but Wall-E wasn't a comedie and it was epic. A completely new experience for me in the way of storytelling.
