@Tim, at the moment I am driving a Ford Focus Zetec (Family car) and a Ford Transit Short wheelbase (Company Van), gotta love the rear wheel drive in the damp mornings at roundabouts, I have had that baby sideways on more than one occassion. I am fairly new to the driving scene, cars that is. I used to have a Yamaha SR125 Custom (one of only a handful in the U.K.). But some cock saw that I wouldn't ride again by pulling out in front of me, and shattering my left Femur, hence pegleg!!!

Yeah man, that sucks big time. Not the Ford, but the accident. I therefore don't wanna ride one. They must be amazing as in acceleration and the feel of speed. But I just don't wanna run the risk. You are so vurnerable on one. I hope your life isn't too much adjusted because of that accident.

Nah, not too bad. My left leg is about an inch shorter than my right, meaning I now limp slightly. But as a rule my overall lifestyle hasn't changed too dramatically, I can still run (short distances). But you make a valid point about being vulnerable on a bike, it dosen't matter how much you are aware of your surroundings, its the other drivers on teh road that you have to think for aswell.
