Now I'm not a die hard Star Wars fan. But I do like the movies and watch them. But did any of the SW guys here watch the latest cartoon / animated movie? What did you think? I don't think it was bad. But it somehow wasn't a Star Wars movie. I still like the first 3 movies. Somehow they have THE Star Wars feel to it. It wasn't ugly or bad or anything, just now the same. |

I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I admit to not having seen it. However it looks to be strongly aimed at a younger audience, and seems to lack that dark Star Wars feel by the look of the trailers. I'm in no rush to see it at all. But if i ever see it in the bargain bin, I may purchase

You mean Star Wars "The Clone Wars" ? The movie is pretty bad, nothing special but for a hard die Star Wars fan good enough. For english people it'll suck pretty much cause only Count Doku and Mace Windu are spoken by their original actors. In german all characters are played by their german voices. For a rainy day it's still good enough. |

I'm sorry Patrick, but the German voice overs are always AWEFULL. I mean one guy did the voice for Hannibal Smith, Michael Knight, McGuyver, etc etc. I can't see how Germans can cope with it. In Holland every movie or serie has subtitles and always the original voices. Only for small children it uses voice overs. But hey, Tinky-winky has no voice to start with LOL. I don't know if the movie was realy bad. But it somehow lacks the Star Wars feeling of a regular movie. It was probably used mostly to promote the series which were made in exactly the same format. |

Yeah, aimed at children as I noted. I think they did it to renew Star Wars interest in children. Otherwise they would have made another proper movie. |
