I don't really consider forums to be a social networking site.
Not sure why?
When i think of social networking I think of like talking to your friends and those that live around your area. Not saying you can't do that with forums its just less common

I like MySpace. Its easy to use, and it has more customization features. Face Book doesn't have as much features and half the time I was wondering what my profile was. Twitter is basically a clone of Face Book so I don't know what all the hype is about.

Social networking sites are a total waste of time, and they are filled with trolls/idiots/morons nowadays, making them less enjoyable to stay on. Although, I was a member of Netlog about a year ago and left not because I encountered idiots but it's because I got tired of it.

As for forums, they are not connected with social networking sites at all. These are two different things you know.
