"Social Networking" Sites

Welcome to The RX Community, a friendly general community forum that had existed on the Internet since April 19th 2008, and your main admin here is CrashRX, with SpaceNinja the co-admin.

Although you may want to meet new people there which is what I did before, and they're good people. And I have to agree with Cheetahmen... these sites are filled with these kind of useless people. There were a lot of them on a site I used to be a member of called Faces. For forums, I don't think they attract much pedophiles or whatever like social networking sites, just depending on the forum's subject I suppose. You wouldn't see any pedophiles on a gaming forum would you? And chat rooms are the things to stay away from. They're more dangerous and unreliable.

I dislike most of the other things. Though text/imageboards tend to not be based around socialising and more about discussing things so they don't really fit into this thread. Facebook actually does have some uses though, my mom uses it to keep in contact with the rest of her family sitting in ireland and idk where, she's encountered quite a few old friends and managed to get back in contact. some of the other social networking sites are also fairly okay but eh Edited by Yakui, 18 Mar 2009, 04:18 PM.
