The RX Community Rules

After signing up, these rules must be obeyed. If any of them are broken, you'll be told off by me or other members of staff that will either increase your warn level or temporarily ban you, depending on what offence you have committed. If you persist on breaking the guidelines, you'll be banned eternally.

General

• No spamming. This includes pointless or irrelevant posts, advertising and so on.

• No flaming or harassing anyone, including to members of staff.

• Don't use foul language.

• Don't post inappropriate content.

• Don't act like a moderator. If you think a topic must be locked, report it. This term is better known as "backseat moderating".

• Don't double-post. If you need to add in extra information in your initial post, use the Edit button. You're free to double-post once if you have important information in your own thread. If you need to bump your thread, you can only do it after three days.

• Don't post in a topic that has been inactive for over three months. This is better known as "bumping" or "necro-posting".

• Don't start up a new topic that is similar to the existing ones already created. If necessary, your thread will be merged with an existing one.

• This is an English speaking forum. If you're not fluent in English, make your posts more understandable so that members know what you're trying to say.

• Don't post images that are too large in dimensions as they take up a lot of forum space and even bandwidth. If you must post an image that is like 700x500, provide a thumbnail for it or just paste it as a link.

• Your post must contain less than five emoticons. Don't overuse one emoticon in your post also.

• Don't use question marks or exclamation marks in an excessive manner, and don't write your post in UPPERCASE.

• Duplicate accounts are strictly prohibited. If you've lost your password or unable to login successfully, report this issue to a member of staff.

Other

• When you register, your username can only consist of letters, numbers, spaces and certain characters such as a hyphen, underscore, full stop, comma and apostrophe. Any other character is prohibited.

• Your signature should not be over 1000 characters in length. If your signature exceeds that amount, reduce it.

• For avatars, the maximum file size is 35KB and the maximum dimensions are 100x100.

• After signing up, try to be active.
