Steve Jobs has died aged 56 from pancreatic cancer. I liked him. I remember the first time i saw him do a keynote and I realised he really does care passionately about his company, their products and their customers. It wasn`t company bullshit, he really meant it. His untimely death goes to show it doesn`t matter how successful or rich you are. Cancer doesn`t discriminate. Another one of the good guys has gone. |

A real shame, I've seen him described as visionary and that probably sums up his innovation and imagination. RIP Steve Jobs |

not a surprise was it but still very saddening, not a big fan of the apple culture but he was a true visionary in the IT industry and i have admired him since found out who he was after playing on an Apple II at school, he just seemed cool. It will be interesting to see if Apple lose any direction now like when the pepsi man gave Jobs the boot in the 80's, i cant see it but he just seems like that sort of bloke that it might just happen. |
