After loosing our eldest cavvie (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) Rosie, in feb, we are left with one dog now. Her son Rolo. I realised after he goes, that line of cavs will end, so I contacted his fathers owner to see if she thought it would be worth using him as stud. He looks very much like his father who was a Crufts champion and one of her best dogs. She is a very well respected authority on Cavaliers, a top breeder and a Crufts judge. By coincidence one of her girls had come into season early and when she checked the pedigree she was really excited at the prospect. So I took him over for her to look at and we decided to try him as stud. What an experience that is ![]() He is a bit old to learn stud work, but he did ok the first time. I took him back the following evening and he knew why we were there and what to do. I am so proud! ![]() Fingers crossed now that the Dam is pregnant. |
