Gina, some long time ago I remember a discussion about freeware web authoring software. There was one program I remember that was really quite good and although I want it for Windows I think it was Open Source with Linux & Win versions. I know I used it for a while and I'd like to have another try as I'm currently using a 'demo' of Dreamweaver (which is very good but I'd like to use a full version of something )So your starter for 10, no conferring... can you remember it &/or where to find it?

NVu has been renamed KompoZer (well the Linux version has anyway). It's what I use. I'll check it still has an up-to-date Windows version. Back in a min.... Here we go... YEP has Windows version, also Mac and other platforms. They say it's much like Dreamweaver to use ![]() Link to KompoZer website Edited by Gina, Oct 25 2009, 08:03 PM.

Well first look is very impressive - I'm no web designer but I do odds & ends for folks and I loaded a couple of them up to see how it feels and it was very intuitive. I'll try it out deeper for a day or two but it looks like I can finish with my Dreamweaver demo
