CISS through Amazon Only problem is they're "Currently unavailable" direct from Amazon with free delivery but available from the manufacturers with £4.50 delivery charge and payment through Amazon. Looks pretty good to me but I think maybe I should wait until I've used more of the ink I've got. I shouldn't think they stop supplying them but I guess they could be out of stock at the time I want one..... |

Yes I think I should start thinking about ordering one as well. |

There's a cheaper option which I think is an imported item as the description is more "broken biscuits" than English! Link here However, I think I would rather pay a bit more and get a British made one. There's quite a difference in the price of the top-up ink bottles too. |

I would go for the dearer one I have to say. In fact I might order that one on Amazon. It looks like the same one as the one I linked to on ebay. |

Done it!! They quote dispatch within 2 days of order so should be here by the end of the coming week Decided not to wait until they have a delivery problem or whatever or the Christmas rush I would imagine the kit is well sealed so it won't matter if I leave it a few weeks before actually using it. Might as well use up more of the ink I've got, I think.

It looks exactly like that eBay one and the firm is also based in East Sussex. I would say it's the same firm using a different name. I know this sort of thing goes on. It's about a fiver cheaper through Amazon

It's arrived And I've unpacked it. It's quite awsome! Very well made - oooodles of ink The ink containers are over 4" high and over 2" wide and each one an inch thick. Goodness knows how many times the capacity of the normal ink tanks and at less than a replacement set of cartridges - a very good buy Assuming, of course that the ink is as good as they claim!

They don't include paper fitting instructions but direct you to their website using this link --> Installation of CISS Just choose the right one It will download a PDF file containing the instructions - quite straightforward and simple, in fact ![]() This link will download the PDF directly Edited by Gina, Dec 3 2009, 05:18 PM.

The 6 quids worth of ink i bought way back in May topped the ink tanks up for the last time today, i reckon there is another 6 weeks to 2 months worth of ink in the tanks now so 10 months worth of printing for 6 quid. |

Rather better than paying 40 or 50 quid every few months (or more often)!

Looking at the pdf fitting instructions (maybe the CISS will arrive tomorrow)... Where does the sticky thing go with the green dot at the top? Where abouts is that on the printer Gina? The sensor housing? |
