Ever since I got a sky lantern to launch, its been rain and windy evenings :lol

Belter! Let another two off last night. It was clear and not much wind. We could see one of them until it went out and watched it slowly descending in the distance.
I have given a few away,. they are nice gifts. i`ll have to order some more.

It would have been good for it here too - the wind dropped right off and it was a calm evening and very warm and sunny. Today is different no sunshine today - overcast and grey, light breeze and rain forecast :(

They do cause false 999 alerts, they can set fire to thatch and fields of crops or heathland, the wire used in them can seriously injure livestock :( Pity - they are clearly great fun.
