The Gentle Mod Posts: 2,917 Group: LMZF Moderator Member #263 Joined: May 21, 2008	Just to keep you all updated. I have just finished this months forum tidy up,and this time I was ruthless. Many dead topics were deleted and umpteen posts were deleted too. Topics of interest or informational ones have as usual been kept,I did toy with the Idea of creating a new section just for those but it wasn't really practical,the forum should now make for easier browsing/trawling again. I will keep an eye on it and check things in about two weeks,because as was pointed out recently,our membership has grown meaning more and more people are posting which is good and what we want,can't really see the need for another tidy out at that stage but you never know,I'll make a decision based on what I see at that time Enjoy :D

The Gentle Mod Posts: 2,917 Group: LMZF Moderator Member #263 Joined: May 21, 2008	What has been decided Ian, is that if a topic hasn't been used for a while but is still thought to be usefull,then we will move it to the archive section. So in future,whenever someone asks where a certain topic has gone,if it's gone to archives,we can 'revive' it and put it back onto the forum.

The Gentle Mod Posts: 2,917 Group: LMZF Moderator Member #263 Joined: May 21, 2008	^^^ yeh,I 've been giving it some thought since gazeele's post last week threw up some 'interesting' replies,didn't really want to create another section,Archive is there so thought why not,can put topics in and out of there as needed,saves deleting them altogether and gets rid of the problem of "wheres that topic about ????? gone"........."Errr actually it was deleted,sorry"

There may be another thing I could do,need to have a think first.
