It's come to our attention that members using AOL's browser are experiencing problems with the forum. These include not being able to use the pm systm and not being able to view certain sections of the forum Simple solution....DON'T use it!! Our recommended Browser is Firefox. Download it HERE Faster and easier to use than IE or Safari. Download it HERE Also much faster and easier to use than IE or Even Internet Explorer is better than AOL's own browser |

For people using AOL, you should not have ANY of their software on at all. It is a waste of time and causes more problems than enough. I was with AOL for 5+ years, and as soon as I moved to broadband, I had no end of troubles with that stupid piece of software...so the simple solution was to create a network connection and fill in a few details, and it would connect to AOL, even their USB modems which they used to supply (not sure what they use now). |

thanks for doing the post wayne. just to aid my views on this. we, the mod team, are spending too much time sorting out aol browser problems. whilst the odd one or two is ok, recently it is becoming more common please follow the suggestions made above for trouble free and spyware free browsing also an aol user btw - their software is filled to the gills with ad seeking software and they gather data on your browsing habits and visited sites.. |
