Looks like this is the one we will be going for: Link A bit more than we wanted to pay but might be worth a bit more to sell on if we keep it in tip-top condition and we get the points too. I keep all my boxes and things in immaculate condition (saddo I know!) :$ |

Awe, I sold a couple of these not so long ago...sold them both (black and pink) for £150 including two M3DS Simply Cards w/ 2GB Micro SD cards. (Needed the money again, as per usual, lol) I'm sure something will come up though, but well worth getting a M3DS Simply card or something else along those lines. Like the guys said, plenty of links to info and PM's can be sent. :D Edited by Doodylicious, 5 Aug 2008, 09:55 PM.

If you have the M3DS Simply, which allows backups to be played, then most of the time cheats are built in. You just keep the firmware updated by copying it onto the memory card and also the cheat file. Then when you play the game, you can choose to active cheats etc. I'm not sure if a cheat system is available on original games though. |

Hi Doody, Cheers for the reply :gr8: I bought this: Link They told me to download some software (which I did), and loaded all my games directly onto the SD card. There are no cheats installed with this software though. :( I just wondered if there was any cheat software or anything I can download that will work with the games I have loaded? I noticed some people have cheats for their games, and the missus want some too if poss. :$ |

Yeah, thats the firmware...it's basically the same as the M3DS. The cheat file is called "cheat.dat". You can get it from here. It's under the Other Downloads section near the bottom. Download the file, extract it and place the cheat.dat file in your _system_ directory on your SD card. Edited by Doodylicious, 10 Aug 2008, 05:11 PM.

@Gordon what is the crack with these cards? we have 2 DS Lites in my house & approx 15 games between them. Costing a fortune to keep them all happy. I have heard about a game card or something which you buy from japan with all the games pre loaded onto them. Is this it? LT PS Hope you can understand what im babbling on about as i dont know much about the DS Lite |

Basically, you need one of these or a M3DS Simply which is basically the same. I used to own the M3DS and it's pretty straight forward to get it up and running. It's a case of getting the card and a memory card, downloading the firmware/software and copying it onto the memory card, add a couple of games which I can't tell you how to get in public due to obvious reasons and there you go. Stick it into your usual NDS slot 1 and boot her up...then you choose which game you want to play. |

@ Little: The card you need (as mentioned by Doody) is a great little gadget. It holds loads of games and mp3's, photos etc. Just load them on the Card and off you go (with a bit of jiggery pokery). I got mine from memorybits.co.uk and they have a live-link-chat to help talk you through how to set it up if you get stuck. |

I'm not sure what your gaming chair inputs are...but I used to be able to connect my DS to my hi-fi using 3.5mm jack (DS) to stereo phono (Hi-Fi). I only used this when playing music games. I do the same with the PSP. |

I think i need 3.5mm to 3.5mm, has the ds end not got to have a funny block added to 3.5mm jack?
