Thought i'd start a thread about the online side. It's all I've played so far and been really enjoying it. Although it can be frustrating when I seem to start off ok and then get progressively worse through the evening... I really want to learn how to shoot someone properly, cos it seems to take me ages to bring someone down and then get killed in a couple of shots. Love how deep this is, you can even become a trainer in the practice mode. I reckon it would be a good idea to get a training mode game together and see if we can get a few of us in to share tips and stuff about how not to suck ;) I'd suggest Figsey can give us all some advice :D I'm just amazed about how quick some people are at taking someone down, and I'd love to learn how to shoot properly. One thing I did find out is that in the game options you need to set your headset to 'usb/bluetooth' cos I was hearing mine through the telly, and it was only after a while I realised I could reset it to my headset. You can even adjust the volume of both the input and output levels. |

I would love to get a few of the LMZF lads and ladettes online and check it out.. and maybe get some tips.... Re: taking people down quickly..... HEADSHOTS... also you can get some quite powerful weapons... Cheers mate Adam |

It's really great online, but it's gonna take a lot of practice to get good at it... The Drebin points thing is a good idea cos it lets you get batter guns, but I did find that it favours the better players. I've never played a MGS game before, so it's taking a while to get used to the controls. |

Phew.. not the only one that sucks at shooting then. Takes me at least two or three clips to get someone down, but then someone pops me off with two or three bullets. Bugger!! This game is gonna take practice, but i'm never one to shy away from a challenge. Liking the idea of a practice online sesh. Maybe we should make a date (ooo err!!) |

online is wicked and its keeping me away from the single player!! lol its very hard though and a steep learning curve but still very addictive. would be well up for some private matches. i am close to meeting the criteria to create a clan ingame, and will set it up when i can will be easy to find each other and get in games |

When I played it with/against Figesy and Monsta the other night, I was hosting and had created the games. In the options for setting them up I had the option to put on a password. Which means we can setup private games which only we'd have the password to join. I'd suggest password would be 'lmzf' to make it easy to remember |

Yeah, it would be great to practice, cos I've been reading about all sorts of things like various CQC moves that you can do. |

It would be handy if when looking at your PSN list it said if a friend was playing MGO like it did in the beta, rather than MGS4 guns of the patriots. Is it easy enough to find/join friends in MGO? |

It's like in the beta where you have to be in the MGO to be added as a friend. When you search for a name they have to be in the MGO game in order for the game to find them. What is good is that if they are in a game with you, you can add them as a friend in the lobby section. Say if I searched your name and found, and added you, I can then join your game and you can add me from the lobby. |

Yeah Figsey set it up with the password 'lmzf' so if we all use that then it should be cool :gr8: There is in game chat and it works fine if you set it up right. In the game options you need to make sure it's set up to 'usb/bluetooth' then in the game hold down 'select' to initiate chat mode |

i think we should all agree on a set day/time so we can all get on together and then add everyone to our lists. |

Yer agreed we should set up a meet, the minimum we would need to for a decent TDM would be 6, we could do a 2 v 2 also if we can get the numbers. Once we get a clan set up it will be a lot easier, and we will in effect have 2 friends list as you will have your 32 friends plus whatever the number a load in a clan. Loving this online, about 15-16 hours of play time so far so should meet the criteria sometime tonight to be able to create a clan :D Use 'lmzf' for passwords of private games if you set them up. |
