Prestige level 6 Posts: 2,365 Group: Delta Member #290 Joined: May 22, 2008	this squad is for members who want a go at the squad matches but either don't want to or are unsure about committing to a squad. check back to see what friendlies are going and sign up if you want a go. this is open to every one whether your in a squad or not but the new members and inexperienced squad members will get preference. "What are 'Squads'"...."what do these squads actually do"...."what if i'm not a very good player"...."what if I decide I don't like it"...."what happens after I've tried it and decide to join a Squad"....lots of questions that go through peoples minds when they first come into the forum,let me try and answer them as best I can: What Are Squads And What Do They Actually Do: Squads are small groups varying in numbers from 8/9 to 12 or more,who have pre arranged matches against each other in a private lobby :joda ,there is a league and teams can check on thier league position by looking at the lmzf league ladder,it's just a bit of fun :partypeople ,nothing serious :partytime ,a good way of practicing your skills :rapidF :bigpoke and learning new ways to play and getting tips from the other guys :@work ,the banter in the lobby and during the matches is second to none imo,always a great laugh :nahnah What If I'm Not A Very Good Player: Doesn't matter whether your the best plyer in the world :rockon or the worse :nailedme every squad is run along the same lines as the lmzf,the ethos is on having fun and enjoying the game :playincars ,I'm not whayt you would class a brilliant player,not by a long chalk,but I'm still accepted into loads of games,and I've learnt so much from some the other lads whilst I've been in a squad,and I've been in three squads now,Bravo,where I dipped my toes in to test the water,decided I liked bieng invlolved with a squad and playing matches,I then joined Zulu squad,simply becuse a friend of mine GhostViperGTX was in that squad thats all,then after a while I decided to have a go at starting my own squad,which is still very young and growing,getting ready for next season,maybe further down the line,you too will want to start your own squad. What If I decide I Don't Like It: No problem,if after trying it,having a few matches you think to yourself,"nah,it's not for me,then your free to go,no commitment whatsoever,you can still join in with the lmzf clan games so no loss to yourself. What Happens If After I've Tried it I Decide I Want To Join A Squad: Great,we'll point in the direction of those squads who are looking for people to join them,and you just carry on,part of that squad. In this Recruit Training Squad :lesson you have megadeath,a very good player who is always ready to help anyone better thier game,and a nice guy to boot, me,a mod,a handy person to have around,think of the things I could do for you (for a price,of course) :teehee along the way there will be guys from the forum who will willingly offer thier services aswell,it really is a great place to be.
