Dear LMZF friends, I thought I would take a moment to say a few words........ I am honoured and privileged to know, talk and play with you guys. From my initial posting on the EU Playstation boards to here has been one hell of a great ride so far. We have had some people come and a couple that went, but LMZF has grown WAY BEYOND any of my initial expectations. To say that we have a good thing going is an understatement in any book. Everyone here has responded with courtesy and respect to their fellow peers and friends and we hopefully have made buddys for a long while to come. I haven't seen a cross word between anyone and in today's world of internet forums, that is quite an achievement in itself! I would like also to make a point of mentioning Stargate. This is a guy who has joined us with an open mind (and older age!) and we have welcomed him into our fold with open arms, helping him along the way. Also the way that not only has he felt that he could talk freely on what is a very personal and sad part of his life, is testament to how we all get on so well. Also the way that you all have responded has definately touched my heart and I have no doubt it has touched Garrey and many others. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I would also like to thank the many guys (and girls HitWman!) who have also responded so well to new members joining up. As some of the the experienced Clan vetarens out there will tell you, recruiting new members into the fold is only half the battle, keeping them is the other..... Can't thank you enough. I would also like to say that this forum site would have not worked half as well if we didn't have the great mods on board who give up SOOOOOOO MUCH of their time to keep it going. Especially you Pot! Well, I have spent too much COD time writing this so in summary, PLEASE keep up the good work and let us know of any IDEAS and Suggestions that will help improve this great place we call "home" Another-Sale  Edited by potukxystus, 27 May 2008, 07:29 PM.

It is, for me, an honour and a genuine privilege to be part of something as special as this. No thanks are necessary from anyone on my part, because, as I've said to so many people, so many times, I'm here because I love it. Like everyone else I came here looking for like-minded people to play call of duty with. Like everyone else, I didn't expect to find so many good friends. Too many to list here..but you know who you are because we PM virtually everyday. I'd like to make my own special mention to Mr Lee Bolton aka Another-Sale, because without your initial drive and post on sony eu, this home from home would never have happened. I would like to add a thanks to everyone in this clan. Obviously a big thanks goes to Another-Sale for founding this band of brothers and also the mods on this forum who keep us all in check and spend countless hours of there own time moderating and posting and keeping the ship floating. I have been gaming for a lot longer than a decade and have been in countless clans and never found anything like this before, we all share a love for COD but even though we are still a young clan (not in our own age mind you) we have already got a strong bond and believe and hope that even when COD fades we will all still find a common interest and continue gaming on our black beauty's together. Being in a clan of lad/ladies around my own age is a real breath of fresh air, and not having kids screaming at me in game all the time for my mistakes makes my day. If like me your trawl other PS3 forums you will see that there is nothing but bitching going on in them, with mocking back stabbing, and although i have logins for them i never really post and only use them as information sources to report back here on, if you check my post counts you will see i am a regular poster and that is all down to the fact that i enjoy talking and discussing things on here with you all. The reason i am in this clan is because of you all and you all make it really enjoyable for me...thanks Big love. *group hug. Whilst trawling through the thousands of posts looking to do a tidy up and delete a few,I came accross this thread,and in light of recent events thought I'd bring it to your attention once more. for once gain has the words above been echoed,in times of trouble,we are strong and with a collective spirit and attitude get through anything. My thanks go out to everybody,from day 1, I was made very welcome,A few friend requests added that same day and on that night thought to myself,"here we go,might aswell see what these lmzf guys are like",went online and got an invite into a private room straight away,a chorus of "welcome" greeted me as I entered the lobby,and straight away I knew,this was the place to be. Been a regular poster ever since,had loads of help with all sorts of different things,any help you need,you just make a post and someone will have an answer or an offer of help for you,now I've been made a mod,I can start to give something back to the forum,I'm always here for anyone who needs me,and always will be. |
