So do we have any other fans of historical fiction? I'm a big fan of Sharon Penman, I also enjoy Jean Plaidy and Alison Weir I'll add some more when I think of them. |

I love historical fiction but I mostly stick to YA stuff. Not always, however. Oh. Bloody Jack (which I mistakenly posted in fantasy) is a historical fiction! Edward Rutherford and Carol Mattas happen to be my favorite authors |

Russka was excellent. It was the first time I had heard of the Georgians. He described them as the "guardians of Europe" against Turkish invasions. New York, his newest, was also excellent. I read Princes of Ireland which was fantastic, and bought Rebels of Ireland but loaned it to someone and they never returned it so I have to re-buy it now
