Anyone else read any historical whodunnits?...

I've just bought some Bernard Knight novels as the one I'm reading is pretty damned good...It's set pretty much at the same time as the Robin Hood legend...Y'know - Prince John/Richard the Lionheart/evil sherriffs etc...But set quite a ways away from Nottingham...

There's a collective called the Medieval Murderers which B.K. belongs to which is a source of some authors I may check out too....

I know there's quite a few Historical whodunnits going about out there, I found some more earlier set during Henry VIII's time which look quite good...And there's all them by Christian Jacq set in ancient Egypt which also look cool...

But has anyone else read any others they could recommend?...
