ITT We Talk About Illiterate Teens and High School

So, I walked into my English teacher's class after school to chillax with him, and he was up to his ass in quizzes and other papers that needed to be graded. Being the angel I am, I offered to grade some papers for him. He said, "Okay," handed me a stack of quizzes, a purple pen, and a calculator (that was also purple) and then I got to work.

And I was shocked at how illiterate these kids are. Let's completely ignore the fact that they had the book with them and were allowed to use it during the quiz, the fact that they still copied wrong and incomplete answers, and the fact that they didn't answer half of the questions at all. Let's just set that aside. If I had given them full credit for all of that, that would have bumped their grades up to about fifty-fives.

I'm truly wondering if they know what a period is aside from that monthly thang chicks go through, because I only saw about one per paper. It was in the instructions.

They didn't finish half of their answers. In example (in correct spelling and grammar): "She had nightmares about"

They just leave the rest of it blank like they don't expect the teacher to even read their answers.

And another thing! Want to know how I found who cheated from who?

They copied the answers word for word.

I mean, if you're going to cheat, on the wrong answers at that, atleast paraphrase it.

I hate high school.

People who usually cheat on tests don't know how to cheat. Some guy in my Night School class was cheating off of me (I really don't care if people cheat off of me, it'll catch up to them in time) on some ridiculously easy grammar work... I would have laughed if it wasn't for the fact that my teacher is a hard-ass.
