Kayley sat in a loaded down wagon filled with hay with a few other people setting around her most of them were headed to Little Lamb Village for come new competition. She was the sole person, who was heading for Kissingtown for an undecided stop since she had been traveling for a while. Knowing many that had asked her about an 'aid' agreed telling that the King should take care of his Kingdom and still do a protection against the Trolls. Kayley sat next to the end telling a small girl a story that her mother told her when she was just about the girl's age. Once they arrived in Little Lamb Village she bid the young girl a farewell and looked at the town before the wagon left. Lauren was right too many shepherdess totting around and she wondered what ever happened to Lauren. She never saw her again after she left during a conversation to a leader of his majesty. Kayley was told not to worry, but she knew he would forget and decided to make the journey to the King himself. It was in mid afternoon once the wagon rolled through the cobblestones of the town and pulled to a halt. She thanked the driver and got off in mist of a passing by wedding. Kayley never been here, but never wanted to in mist of a war of marriages. She knew she came at a bad time and would hopefully keep away from wandering eyes. Kayley didn't want to find love here much less marry someone who was dolling over her. Walking through the streets she passed by a casino and several ring shops. Kayley glanced up to see a couple buying a singing ring, arrgh those things were annoying and some 1st Kingdomers had them. Why would anyone wanted a ring that sings? It was annoying. Shaking her head Kayley walked up to the famous spot where Snow White's coffin laid. This was one of the reasons why she wanted to come here since her mother promised her that she would take her here one day, but she was here now without her. Kayley took a rose from a lady, who was passing them out to everyone. Hers was white the color of Innocence. As she looked down at the white rose a loud shouting and banging began to rang out over the excitement in the air. Kayley looked up seeing people run down towards town. Something was happening and she was here during it. Following some she heard the words "Trolls" and "Assassins" from different people which made her halt. Kayley's mind told her to stay put and not go back into town. She walked back to Snow White's coffin placing the white rose on the pillow of the coffin. "Snow White, please help and guide the citizens of Kissingtown during this hour of need." she said with a concern voice looking from the coffin to the town where yells were coming from there was even some people leaving the city as well. It was nearly three in the afternoon and this was happening. Setting down on the steps she tried to think of what she could do for them. Get them out of town! her voice said inside her mind. Don't think Kayley. Become. another voice that wasn't fimiliar spoke to her. Somehow Kayley got up and started walking towards town. |

"If I've told you once, I've told you twice over...he likes girls. I know he's a little cleaner than most and worries too much about how he looks but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not a fan of the female form..." Payton was blushing furiously as he spoke to the stout woman, her beady, gossiping eyes set on the man. He was asked the same questions of how he and his brothers were, if Hayden or him had found a nice girl yet...or if Ash had found himself a lover. Each week by the old woman he was accosted and each time it ended up at this point---he never quite got any further because by this point he was too embarrassed to finish talking to the woman. "Look, Mrs. Drover...I have to go. I just came to get more flowers...I have to get back to the shop before it gets really busy. But er...thanks for the talk. It was...good. I'll see you next week, all right? Yeah, all right." Payton told her swiftly, shifting the flowers in his hand before he moved through people towards the Three Brothers Tea Shop just up the sidewalk. As of late, the news of the troll attacks along the southwest border of the kingdom had spread like wildfire--many figured the trolls were too far away, still around Beantown and the villages around it--to attack the loving and sweet Kissingtown. But Payton worried--as he always did--that that wasn't going to last for long. The trolls were brutally mean and would do anything to get what they wanted--and if it was Kissingtown that they sought after, Payton knew they would get there. No matter what. He could see the wooden sign, painted white and dark red, just a ways up when Payton heard the shouts. He only managed to understand a few of the words from those rushing past him but it was enough to process what was happening. For the shortest moment he stood still in his spot, swallowing hard and nervously--as much as he worried about it, a part of Payton hoped with all his might that it wouldn't happen...not to them. Not to his new home too. He immediately rushed forward a second later, snapping back to attention and moving faster in hopes to reach Hayden and Ash before they were in too much danger. He would force them to the back rooms--to stay there, in fact--to keep them safe. Perhaps get them to leave the town all together--evacuate...he didn't care so much about the tea shop or the small apartment above more than he did his two brothers' lives. But before he could reach the door to the tea shop, he ran into one of the persons moving closer towards the center of town (as the tea shop lingered towards the edge of it) and the flowers he was carrying fell to the ground in a huge mess, feet already crushing peddels. He frowned deeply, stooping down for a second to try and save a few of the red flowers before he stood up and looked at who he had run into. "I'm sorry--I didn't mean to. Did you come from that way--over towards Snow White's coffin, yes? Are there really trolls?" He asked quickly, eyes wide and hopeful for a good answer from this woman--one that would settle his nerves. |

As Kayley descended from the hill her mind focused on what to do and yet the voice that had talk to her knew that she could handle it. Replaying the voice inside her made her think twice before she finally came on who it really was. The voice of Snow White herself had told her to not think, but to become. Become a person, who can do something great in the matter of minutes. Kayley was the brave type that could laugh at the face of danger if there was one such as this. She was grateful that they evacuated Rivertown and Beantown to the safety of the 1st Kingdom. Kayley was thankful that Queen Cinderella was aiding the evacuees from the 4th Kingdom. Somehow she knew that they would be alright. A loud marching sound with high raised voices made her head turn. She stopped for a moment to see a small amount of the Troll Army heading this way. Kayley knew that they were inside the 4th Kingdom and where was the army? Kayley saw that they only had a short amount of time to evacuate the whole entire town and send someone for King Wendell. "Give us strength. Snow White." she said running towards the town to get everyone out of town before dusk settles. She wasn't going to let this town fall without a fight. Beantown did, but Kissingtown will stand. Running into town she gathered some men, who would help her evacuate the town in sections taking them to nearby Kingdoms. While she was clearing out a section of town she found a young girl, who was no younger than 3 years huddled in a corner. "Come." Kayley said picking up the girl and running to the main street giving her to a woman in the wagon. "Make sure you find her parents. Keep her safe." she said telling the driver to head out. Kayley stood in the street for a moment watching the large amount of men staying behind gather guns, swords, and crossbows to fight. She needed someone to run to tell the King as she ran through another uncheck section of town to in fact run into someone in the process. "It's alright. Yes, I did and it's not any good news. The Trolls are heading this way. " she replied quickly knowing that she had a mission. "I need a favor. Can you ride to King Wendell's Castle and tell him that Kissington is under attack? We need help." she asked quickly to the young boy infront of her. |

"No--" Payton shook his head quickly, his frown growing deeper. This couldn't be happening--there was no way. He swallowed hard and shook his head again--he vaguely recognized the woman but couldn't put face to name--not with this sort of pressure and emotional instability. "I can't--my brothers...I have to get them. But it doesn't matter, do you know how long it'll take to get to the king? It's nearly a day ride, half if you don't stop along the way--if they're really here, there isn't time to go to him and receive help before they've destroyed this place." Payton abandon his flowers before he looked nervously towards Kayley. "You have to get out--leave and get out of town before they hurt you too. I can get you a ride out--a ride towards the castle if you wish it. There won't be time for aid from his armies--come, please." Payton asked with little force--he wasn't the sort to demand attention and this wasn't a moment to start. "Please, just come with me and get out of here--I need you to come now, with me." Payton said again, begging her slightly as he reached out to take her hand and lead her up to the tea shop--from there he could put her on a carriage with her brothers and send them on their way. He would stay back and help the others fight--even if it was a lost cause. |

Kayley watched the expression on his face change. They only had maybe 4 to 5 hours at the most before the small group of Trolls get to the city limits. Kayley only saw them far off and by the looks of it it could be a while and she needed the time to set up a plan for the people staying behind to help protect the town until King Wendell arrived and help them out. "Your brothers are safe. Don't worry they're in a very safe place with other people and being looked after. King Wendell's castle isn't far away." she said opening the map in her hands to show him how close Kissington was from the castle. "You can get there by the fastest horse that is here. We may only have a couple of hours or more until the army arrives." Kayley spoke with alot of confidence and concern towards Payton, who looked more worried than ever. "No. I'm staying behind along with a fairly large amount of people, who want to defend this place with me. I have to plan out what to do here. I'm not letting this town fall like Beantown did." she replied to him with the truth. The small army defending the city had closed the back and front gates into town, but the side gate with still open. If he couldn't go than she would just have to get someone else. "No. I told you I'm helping to defend this town." Kayley said backing up to gave them space. "If you want to get out of here. You can get your brothers and ride towards the castle. We can try to hold the Army off long enough so the King can come. " Kayley said backing up some more. She wasn't going to let this town fall without a fight and she was the brains behind this whole operation. A males voice yelled at her telling her that she was needed at headquarters,"If you want the mission. You can your brothers can have it, but I would recommend riding really fast." That was the last thing she said as she ran towards the male and walked with him to headquarters in the Lucky in Love Casino. |

Payton was getting frustrated in that moment, his head reeling only slightly as she opened the map. He didn't look down at it but his eyes focused in on her face. "I know how far it is--I'm not a visitor to Kissingtown, I live here. And...as optimistic as you seem to be, even a few hours isn't enough time. It's not far, no...but it's not close either. And a days time goes well beyond a few hours--as does a half a day. Sending word to the king now means that someone leaves and doesn't add to our numbers." Payton told her, only a small amount of force in his voice--he didn't have the personality to possess much else. Even if he knew his brothers could take care of themselves and would no doubt be safe, Payton didn't at all trust the woman's judgement on the matter--as much as he wanted to save the town, lives meant more than buildings did. If a handful of people were saved in return for a little tea shop, Payton would be grateful. He stood there helplessly for a moment as she disappeared, the idea of a visitor to the town putting their life on the line was hard enough to take in. The fact that the others were letting her into their make-shift army was both a sad testiment to the unpreparedness of the villiage and to the brashness of the kingdomers that came through. But Payton didn't dwell on it too much longer before he moved off the other way, back towards the tea shop as he intended before. People were already spilling out of its doors, rushing in all directions, the moment Payton got there and pushed his way back inside. He spotted Hayden and Ash a second later, both at opposite ends of the shop, doing their best to handle the situation presented within the small room. "Come on--with me. Please, sir, go and fight if you wish...but leave if you must as well. Don't delay." Payton said softly to the man before Ash with a smile before he took his brother's elbow and led him towards Hayden, giving no consideration to Ash's comfort. He offered the smallest nod and smile to the group Hayden had been speaking with as they turned to leave before Payton grabbed his elbow too and turned both of them towards the room just beyond the counter, the very same that would lead to a back way out of the shop. |

Kayley had long since disappeared from view of the side street with another member of the make shift army that she was building. She belonged to this Kingdom and her loyalties laid with this Kingdom as well. Kayley wished that some people would understand on what she was trying to do for them. Some did, but some didn't and left town with the others. Kayley cared alot about the citizens and knew that in order to win she and the men of her make shift army would have to lay their lives of the line for the town and the citizens within. If her father could do it then so could she. Kayley knew her father was once a knight now come Lord. So it was in her blood to defend people in this time. Walking into the headquarters the place was abandon chairs over turned with play cards and chips scattered about in the wake of the evacuation. There one one table sat up to were they could watch the Trolls process so far they had stopped just a couple of miles from the city limits. They needed to hurry and put a plan into action not only that, but to get word to his majesty about this crisis he may not know off. Just as she settled into a chair to listen to any plans that the leaders had come up with. One of the leaders had already sent word to his majesty when the mayhem just started. Kayley was regretful and listened in on the plan on the leader. "My father, who was a knight. Told me about the movement to protect a town in a need like this." she said when it was her turn to speak. She talked for an hour or so telling how her father protected a town in the 1st Kingdom a few years ago. "If my father could do it then we can." With that they planed out on a map of Kissington on where everyone will be placed. "My troops will be near the front gate, but not to close and well enough hidden from view. It's what we call Gorilla warfare." Kayley talked for a few more minutes about what to do and rolled up the map,"Alright our meeting is over. Now get your men and head to your station." As the leaders left Kayley walked out onto a balcony and looked out for a moment. It was in the early evening hours and it was just going to get worse as time passed by. She stood there for a moment before heading to her troops that awaited her outside. |
