When using fairy tale characters in your histories or if you are a fairy tale character yourself, please remember that the stories the Tenth Kingdom were based on were the dark, sometimes depressing, versions created by the Brothers Grimm. Before using them, please do research on their version first. The stories have been retold so many times and changed to fit whatever need someone has at the time that some are nowhere near what the original version actually was so make sure and check first.

Same thing stands if you use a fairy tale from Hans Christian Anderson or an old nursery rhyme or any other fairy tale character, find the original version first and see what it says and fit your character to it that way.

Also, remember, that if you want a fairy tale character in your history, you have to have it approved by us first. Make sure it is included in very specific terms for us to see on your application.

Thank you for your time.
