Jasella's eyebrows shot up on her forehead and she smiled a dangerous smile at Belle. "Next time I shall - and you'll still follow me." She challenged her friend. Though it was sport for Jasella to push the right buttons on the right people at the right time to get them to feel at the extemes of their emotional range, something Belle had long since learned how to deal with (or at least pretend to), this time she was almost actually annoyed with her friend. It might have been a side effect of Wendell's pompous attitude or the fact that she wasn't in her own kingdom challenging those she knew she had a right to. She was in a foreign land and doing her best to hold her own; the last thing she wanted was Belle against her too - but that only meant she'd fight harder, not yield.

Any quip she might have back faded away as her eyes set on the city beyond as well. She briefly saw the duke seemingly vanish and disappear all around them. She wanted to reach our and grab him - he was distracting her from the amazing things beyond. When he settled on Belle she was glad for Belle to get distracted and for the duke as well - it would get them both off her radar for the time being.

She followed him with a smug smile, completely bemused to see Wendell trying to lead them in an unfamiliar place. He looked only that much more foolish. It was amusing. But the second he snapped at her before turning and entering before she could even respond had a heat rising in her chest that made the tips of her ears burn. He might be handsome and well mannered in spirit - he was hardly charming and the fact that he annoyed her so only made the handsome and would-be-well-manners fall away. She followed immediately, stalking as she went. She stepped up right next to him and leaned closer to him. "No my dear king you're not as clever as you think you are." There was laughter in her tone as the waitress merely looked at Wendell in confusion; an expression Jasella could read quite well. Particularly his precise verbiage.

"Allow me..." She said to him turning back to Tony. "I understand that his majesty isn't capable of improper choices or even using those disc shaped fleshy things on the sides of his head. I assume he only keeps them there for decoration not the purpose of listening. Though I heard you. Please point us to the correct restaurant she is employed at." Jasella shot Wendell a sideways glance as she trotted off behind Tony who was still standing with the door open pointing across the street. Oddly enough she exited the building while Tony held the door for her, proudly with her head held high. She merely glanced over her shoulder and issued Wendell a demeaning and coy grin half hidden behind her shoulder.

"For the sake of your kingdom, I accept the apology...but a word to the wise, Marquis. I am not an enemy you would ever wish to have--it would do you well to remember it." - Wendell White
