Wendell wrinkled his nose, still quietly glowering to himself over Jasella as she disappeared into the mirror. He didn't enjoy being showed up--and she did it so perfectly that it absolutely annoyed him. Wendell reached up and smoothed out his hair before stepping in behind Tony, blinking his eyes rapidly the moment he stepped onto the grass of the park, brushing off his clothes as he gave a snort.

"If you can manage to choke down that vile liquid, be my guest." Wendell said off hand, eyes flickering to Tony. A smile cross his face involuntarily at the man's words. Tony had quickly become more than just part of his faculty--he was his friend and companion. If Wendell took the moment to realize it, he would dub Tony as his best friend. It was in that moment that he was reminded of any sort of relationship at all--Tony amused him. His zeal and humbleness was something he didn't expect to enjoy but it had long ago grown on him.

"Let's keep moving forward--Virigina is a server, yes? If your mother-in-law's is off limits, I imagine our first destination is her place of work." Wendell said swiftly, nodding Tony forward to lead them there in whatever way he could. Wendell shifted uncomfortably--he hated not knowing what was next nor being less knowledge about where he was. It was unfamiliar territory--for the most part--and didn't enjoy the nervous feeling in his stomach.

It was only when they were in front the restaurant that Wendell opened his mouth again, eyes cutting first to Jasella. "I'd imagine offering you entrance first would only stroke your ego that much more and I can't pretend that any of us could handle that. You're not as clever as you think you are, Marquis." He said sharply, his last words said low enough that he intended for only her to hear. He turned and stepped into the restaurant, eyes focusing in on someone who seemed in charge before he stepped forward--it never occurred to him to have Tony help him. Any moment he could skirt by without help from others was the perfect moment.

"Excuse me--yes, you there." Wendell stopped one of the waitresses, his eyes settling on her. "We seek Miss Virigina Lewis--would you please fetch her?"

"For the sake of your kingdom, I accept the apology...but a word to the wise, Marquis. I am not an enemy you would ever wish to have--it would do you well to remember it." - Wendell White
