| Alessandra Hailen ;; General of Willow Valley

--

Alessandra walked through the ruins, her paws deep in the thick snow as she looked up to the gray sky; it was snowing, and she began to think back to her birth....it had been snowing then too. Alessandra began to cry, without thinking of it; she missed her brother, and her mother. The creamy brown fae turned her head, using her paw to wipe the tears away.

"Lessa! Come on Less!" Naaki called her name as he ran toward her, and Alessandra tacked her brother with a giggle. He was smaller, and she always protected him; their mother walked over, with a kind smile. "Mama!" Alessandra grinned, nuzzling the red and white fae happily.

The female tried not to yawn, her eyes shining coldly as she looked across the snow. Her legs pushed her toward a tall tower, and Alessandra jumped onto the snowy stone with a soft sigh; her gaze fell across the grounds, she was looking for loners that needed a pack. Her black nose twitched as she sniffed the air, nothing. "In this land of desolation I call home, the reaper awaits." Her mother had murmured that before Alessandra had left them, before the two-legs came that is.

In their control, it was hateful and cold; the other dogs constantly fought her, and Alessandra had grown into a hateful she-beast. The girl was an excellent fighter, and didn't hesitate to kill where justice was needed.

~Secura Hailen~ “The grass is not always greener on the other side. Sometimes that grass is dead and brown.”

She had been calmer since her meeting with Cruor. The red and white femme padded slowly through the Tall Fortress, body shivering now and then. Life as a loner was tough, especially in winter. The cold months were long and hard and death was everywhere. Prey was hard to come by… and without a pack it made things all the harder to keep oneself both physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy. The fae was getting older and longed for company again. A normal Clan however wouldn’t do at all however so for now she wandered, waiting for the right place to join. She thought of Cruor, debating on asking to join him…

A familiar scent caught her off guard and she blinked, the thought of Cruor vanishing. Alessandra, her daughter, her baby, was here? Could that really be true? Although the fae had been become much more hateful, colder, merciless she still loved her daughter and wished to hold her. That was her motherly instincts for surely no mother could turn away a child? Slowly the femme padded through the trees. It wasn’t until she neared the ruins did she notice movement. Then she spotted her; standing atop a snowy rock was her daughter, a beautiful young woman. Secura couldn’t help but smile with pride.

“Alessandra, my daughter…” She had paused not that far behind her daughter, not wanting to run up to her in case Alessandra didn’t care about her anymore. After all… Secura had practically done nothing for her two children… and she regretted it. That was probably why she had to end up killing her own son, she thought to herself. If only she had been a better mother…

| Alessandra Hailen ;; General of Willow Valley |

--

The gray sky made the white coated world seem dull, the brightest thing was calculating forest green eyes; and her muzzle twitched as she looked across the snow, Alessandra felt....alone. The connection she had with her brother, was telling her he was....gone; things happened for a reason, and yet...it felt wrong. The girl sighed softly, turning her head across the snow and blinking calmly. A familiar scent washed over her, even though she hadn't been the best....Secura was still her mother, and Alessandra turned to stare at the red and white fae.

A mixture of emotions crossed her face, and finally settled on a soft smile as Alessandra leapt down gracefully; her eyes meeting those of her mother, and the creamy brown fae enveloped her mother in a hug. "Mother, how have you been?" Alessandra would always love and care for her mother, she would protect her mother with every fiber of her being. Alessandra wasn't a small little pup anymore either, she was a fighter; and with her abilities came her confidence, now she was graceful and beautiful.

"Mother, what clan are you...." She trailed off, Alessandra wanted to make sure her mother was well cared for; even if it meant that she had to go to the other clan and make sure it was okay.

~Secura Hailen~ “The grass is not always greener on the other side. Sometimes that grass is dead and brown.”

Her daughter had grown so much since her puppyhood. Secura felt so much regret about it and thanked StarClan that her daughter was still alive. As her daughter hugged her Secura hugged her back and let the cold exterior that normally showed slip away. “I’ve been hanging in there Alassandra, just hanging in there.” Yeah, living as a loner wasn’t exactly and easy experience for the fae. But she was used to it by now… even when there were others around her she was still alone. “I’ve missed you.” The words came out of her mouth unbidden, spoken from the heart. It was the truth… she had missed her daughter. A lot.

Her daughter’s question made her sigh though. “Alessandra… I am not part of any Clan, nor pack. I’m not sure I want to be… well, at least in the Clan sense of things. It’s not like me… and I doubt they’d accept me as old as I’m getting.” Yeah… she was five and half years old. Almost too old to bear pups. What use would a pack have for a femme such as herself? Secura knew that there wouldn’t be much use in it so instead she just wandered, a drifter, alone in the lands of Caelum. “And what of you my daughter? Part of any pack?” Get the attention off of her and on her daughter… she didn’t want to have to explain her past. When they all were seperated.

Alessandra smiled into her mother's fur, it had been far too long; her mother wasn't exactly young, but Secura wasn't old either. "I see, I'm glad you're okay." Alessandra whispered, breathing in the oh so wonderful scent of her mother. The creamy brown fae smiled, and then her mother sighed. Her forest green eyes widened, that's why she was so stressed out. "Why not come back with me then? I'm the Beta of the Willow Valley pack, we're not really that big yet and we need someone with life experience. Besides, I want to take care of you mom." Alessandra answered earnestly, she would gladly offer her mother a home with her.

Besides, the pack wasn't large; and the more people the better, it was all too perfect. With a low smile, the fae finally released her mother; would Secura say yes? Would Alessandra be able to care for the fae that had birthed her, and be able to finally live with her mother in peace?

~Secura Hailen~ “The grass is not always greener on the other side. Sometimes that grass is dead and brown.”

Alessandra was beta of Willow Valley? My how her daughter had grown from such a young, innocent pup. Secura closed her eyes, pondering the offer. Really she knew she shouldn't have to think about this. She wanted to be with her daughter, with family. But something in her heart made her fearful of that. Would she end up having to kill Alassandra like Naaki? The thought made Secura want to be sick. How could she have taken the life of her own son, evil or not? The life of his mate? The life of his friend? If Secura was deemed evil would Secura kill her too? Well, that 'evil' was more so… corrupted. Dangerous. Reckless.

Naaki's death had been necessary, she thought to herself. She knew Alassandra wasn't like Naaki—she'd been different. "Alessandra," She opened her eyes, a light smile coming to her maw. "I'll… give it a shot. I don't know if Willow Valley will be the right place for me but the gods know that I want to try. I want to be with again… be a true mother." Secura's voice cracked at the last part. Her duty to protect her children had failed. She was a failure. Would a pack really want that? She hadn't considered it before. Still, Secura did want to try. She had to try… For Alassandra. She owed her daughter that much at least.

|| Alessandra Hailen ;; the worst loneliness is not to be comfortable with yourself ||

--

Alessandra watched her mother's face as the fae considered her offer, a small flicker of fear crossed the older fae's face; Alessandra wondered why her mother was fearful, but Secura had grown up without a clan. It could be she didn't want that to change, and then Alessandra watched her mother's eyes open. A alight smile, comforting to the creamy brown fae, crossed Secura's maw; and Alessandra gave a low breath, her mother was going to come home with her.

The fae couldn't stop herself, she launched foreword and embraced her mother with a laugh. "That's great! Alright, now I have to assign you a rank." She recovered a minute before smiling at her mother, standing straighter and proudly; Alessandra was a betess, and she was going to be as official as she could. "I, Alessandra Hailen, General of Willow Valley accept you, Secura Hailen, as a member; your rank will be a Pupsitter of Squad Two." There was nobody Alessandra would trust pups with more than her own mother, besides, Secura wanted to be a good mother and now she could at least teach a few pups how to be good wolves.

"C'mon Mom, let's go back so I can give you a tour." The fae smiled, her eyes shining softly; deep forest green orbs reflected absolute joy, Alessandra was so happy to have her mother back.

~Secura Hailen~ “The grass is not always greener on the other side. Sometimes that grass is dead and brown.”

Secura smiled. She was glad to see her daughter so happy. The red fae was happy too in all honesty. She was reunited with her daughter, and was glad that she was going to be living with her daughter. The pack life… she might even like it she supposed. Secura listened, curious as to what rank her daughter was going to give her, and was shocked when she received it. Pupsitter? It was a sign from her daughter that she had ultimately forgiven her. The femme nodded, a smile tugging at her maw. “Thank you Alessandra.”

WillowValley… it was going to be a place of great happiness. A thought crossed her mind at the mention of being pupsitter though. Would her daughter be having pups this spring? She hoped so. Secura didn’t want to ask though. “Yes, lets go home.” She smiled. Anywhere was home as long as she was with her daughter. Anywhere.

((Ooc:: We can just say they leave))
