OOC= This is set during "The Fight At White Sand Beach" and after "Death Has No Age" (Which havn't been posted yet, but we'll try avoid spoilers)

Kabolk Kalardor & Roberto Puzo & Sylar Kalardor & Arnou Diadalos & Cruor-Puzo Kalardor & Trigger Verdad

The time for Caelum has finally come, when back at Giants Nose, Kabolk had told Arnou to deliver the message to other Kalardor members to come to the ruins of Tall Fortress once the alphas returned to their Clans. And now with the alpha meeting finally over, the alphas had gone home, meaning his own could begin. It was time he told his followers the plan, the Shadow Clan membership, the Wind Clan Invasion, the war against Thunder Clan, the invasion of Willow Valley, the wipe-out of Scarta, the war against River Clan, and finally, the rise of the Kalardor Empire! Not even the Somnio family could stop them; they wouldn’t even be around to try. That’s if Resplandor and Sarobando succeed in their mission over at White Sand Beach. Kabolk looked up at sky above the meeting spot; the black night was blocked by the last of clouds, which were blocked by the trees and the ruins that put a long shadow over them. The ruins themselves looked haunted under the darkness, and the Fallacia Don sitting in the ruins helped ad to it. This area was perfect. It was a dangerous place, especially tonight with all the blood-hungry killer wolves that would be gathered here. Anybody who wasn’t a member would either join or be killed; there was no other option for them.

The official Kalardor members may have been told to come here once the alphas returned home, but the Fallacia Mafioso’s were not. Roberto had only told Samara aka Skullcap about this meeting, so hopefully she has told the new members to go to Tall Fortress and wait for the Dons call. “I call all Fallacia members to the ruins of Tall Fortress”, he howled just loud enough for the wolves in Tall Fortress to hear, and maybe Shadow Clan and the Lone Terra, but he didn’t give a damn. Besides, Shadow Clan was no threat at all, and the only wolves in Lone Terra were a bunch of loners looking for a pack. Roberto wondered if his nephew, Cruor, would show up at this meeting, he was the underboss of the mafia, even though the Don had only met him once before. Since he was Roberto’s only living relative, he had no choice but to give him the rank, which he would have preferred to have given Skullcap. But then again, apparently Cruor and Skullcap had met once before, and he quite liked her, so who knows what the future had in the store. Roberto closed his eyes and took in the environment around him, he listened and kept the scent of the wind for the sound and scent of anybody that came. He would not open them again until he was sure all of his mafioso's had arrived

Sylar was the first to arrive at the meeting, which was good considering he was to be the co-emperor with his brother, Kabolk. “Mission successful”, he said, taking a seat beside his brother. Sylar had found an old friend of his that was going to rejoin Shadow Clan, he was just going to find an ordinary Shadow Clanner and kill them, but almost all of them were related to Keno, so he had to kill his old friend and leader instead. Ah well. His son Malusk wasn’t here and neither was Resplandor or Sarobando, the fight at White Sand Beach must still be going on.

Arnou was the second to arrive at the meeting, not that it made any difference considering he was only the messenger brute. But at least that part of him was done now, and his real place in the Kalardor could finally begin, whatever that was... Although he didn’t know what his future in the pack actually was, he was confident that it was good and he was considered trustworthy. He also wanted to be remembered as being one of the few that helped the Kalardor pack become the new Kalardor Empire.
Cruor was the third to arrive at the meeting, early enough. The future of the Kalardor Empire was important to him she he was an heir to Sylar’s current throne. But Cruor was the grandson, his father Malusk was next in line, but at least Cruor was also heir to the Fallacia mafia leadership. He was the dark prince, hmm; he liked the sound of that.
Trigger was the fourth to arrive, not that he knew what this meeting was about. Looking around, the only wolf that he recognised was the don himself, he didn’t see Skullcap or anybody else he knew from the mafia. Trigger wondered if he had missed any previous meetings because he did not remember any of this.

~Skullcap and Yager~

Yager stalked silently behind her. The summer air was thick, scented with pine. Skullcap paused for a moment. She knew that something big was happening and she wasn't quite sure how to feel about that. Well, she was fine with anything as long as it didn't interrupt her own plans. Of course, she had a feeling that the Don had his own plans to take over Caelum. Personally she was only interested in the four great clans...but her plan was easily adapted into a plan B should things not fully pan out. The ability to be prepared made Skullcap a skilled capo. She'd keep her ideas to herself and offer them only when they were relevant to the Don. She glanced at Yager, the sandy brutes head was down, his rust-colored ears drooping.

"Come on Yager, quit moping about. What happened to Mr. Sunshine?"
"I'm not moping I'm just tired," Yager snorted.
"What is this about anyway?"
"You'll see." Skull grinned and leapt gracefully over a fallen pine. Yager chose to squeeze under it.
"Seriously, though...." Skull didn't reply. Yager didn't need to know about the war yet. The Don would explain things better than she could.

They were almost there. Skullcap broke into a run, Yager close behind her. Hmm...she wondered if Cruor would be there. They came upon the meeting place. Skullcap took her place and Yager took his next to her. She grinned softly. She felt powerful to be associated with the strong wolves gathered here. Odd...she was the only fae to arrive so far. Well, at least Trigger was here. Skull didn't want to be the only mafia member present apart from the Don and his immediate family.

"Capo Skullcap, reporting sir. The new recruits should be along shortly." She glanced at Yager. He lowered his head in a gracious bow.
"I'm Yager Bolero. An old friend of Skullcap's. It's an honor to be in your presence."

Foxglove trotted into the clearing, head and tail up. She scanned the wolves who were already there. She spotted Skullcap and Yager, the only ones who mattered, in her opinion. Were those the Fallacian leaders she’d heard so much about? They were…old. How much use were they going to be in a fight? They sat shrouded by the shadows on the far side of the clearing, trying to look spectral and imposing, Foxglove guessed. She quelled the urge to wrinkle up her nose.

She flicked an ear and a glance in Skullcap’s direction. If the Capo was taking orders from this bunch, there must be more to it than met the eye. This was the only game in town, and Foxglove was willing to play along…for now. Keep your eyes open and mind your own interests, that’s what Ichor had always told her. He was the one she should’ve been minding, in the end. But hadn’t he told her no one would take care of Foxglove but Foxglove? You had to look after your own interests first and foremost, because no one else was going to do it for you.

Foxglove walked up to the decaying old brutes. She ignored the younger thugs who made up the rest of the group, and hoped Avalon would be along behind her. One glance into the many pairs of savage old eyes warned her that this was not the time for impertinence. She bowed low enough to touch her nose to her forepaws.

“Foxglove Argent, sirs. Capo Skullcap recruited me.” She didn’t say more. That told them who she was and where her allegiance lay. She wouldn’t offer them anything else unless they asked. She turned to look for Avalon. She wanted to make sure the old crows knew she had brought a recruit to swell the numbers of their tiny pack, too. She'd tried to bring two faes to even up the pack’s numbers, but Isra must’ve gotten lost.

“Avalon Wyrzyk should be along,” she said. “I met her on White Sand Beach.” She sat down, and waited to be acknowledged. She wasn’t attached to anyone here except the Cactus and maybe Skullcap and Yager. Keep your eyes open and mind your own interests, Foxglove, and you’ll always land on your feet.

~Keno Sarka Kedieo~

The alphess of ShadowClan had taken her own sweet time to arrive at the meeting, and she wondered if anyone would be surprised to see a Clan leader there. Perhaps, perhaps not. The red wolf tossed her head up, eyes narrowed. She had visited her own Clan only briefly before coming here... she had to arrange things, call a meeting and give out ranks and clear up the mess that previous alphas had left. The remainder of her life it would probably take-- not that there was a problem with that of course. Her son Randall showed promising signs of following her exact pawsteps. If only she knew what her son was constantly thinking.

Keno approached the other wolves and sat down, red fur gleaming in the sunlight. Keno kept herself well groomed and well kept at all times, no matter what. An alpha wasn't allowed to look like trash. "Hmph." There, she had announced her presence. She looked around and her golden-red eyes fell on Sylar. He had been around ShadowClan when she was younger, but she couldn't remember how young. Hadn't he been there when it was Dace and Juinwa ruling? Her mother... Keno snorted. She had never been worthy of alphaship. None of her siblings had either, except perhaps Triss. But Dace had always looked down on females...

"The shadow creeps closer..." She whispered. The words were not her own, she realized, but those of Triss. Marrow had heard Triss all the time too, and now so did she. Sometimes she'd hear Santiago, and others she'd hear Yaoi, Acacia, or Marilyn. It brought pain to her dark and corrupted heart, to her disturbed and twisted mind. Things would never be the same.

Her golden-red eyes scanned each wolf in turn, analyzing, taking in those wolves she'd be working with. Not a bad lot for the most part. The red femme curled her tail around her toes and took a deep breath. Things would go in the right direction - darkness - and then she could move forward with her own plans. If Sara wasn't dead than she had to find and kill her daughter. Namchuri had to fall. Loki, Bonnie, Sagaxus, Isria, and Bonnington had to fall. Wasn't she missing wolves? Oh well.

Skullcap nodded at Foxglove. She saw great potential in the new recruit and planned to let her in on Skull's grander plans. As for Yager...he was fairly easy to manipulate and ever since he spent some time with Foxglove he seemed to be a bit more like his usually self. Optimistic and witty. Even now he was smiling in contentment and Skull knew it had nothing to do with herself or the meeting.

ShadowClan? Skullcap scented the air again. Surely her nose was mistaken...this was a disaster! Skull glared sharply at the red fae who entered the meeting. No one moved and Skull could only conclude that Roberto expected the femme to be here. No...the plan was going to be ruined if ShadowClan was in cahoots with the mafia. Or...maybe not. Her lips twisted in a smirk. As long as the Don was sure that this...filth...could be trusted.

Skull had a distaste for Clan wolves but it struck her as such a wonderful twist to the story. Skull knew Memoir fairly closely at one time, having stumbled across the pup more than a year ago. Oooo...what would the precious little pup say when she knew her mother was betraying them? Until Keno's ties from ShadowClan were broken Skullcap would not trust this fae. Memoir, however, was still young, still moldable. ShadowClan was now in the paws of the mafia. How delicious.

Oh, wait. Curse her mind for being so quick. Why bother with the young when she could deal with the old. Keno didn't look to be in her right mind. Skull was certain that the Don had a plan. Oh the wonders of manipulation. Now...what should she do? Wait for things to unfold or stir the coals. Ahh...so much damage to do in so little time.

Skullcap caught Yager's eye and jerked her head to the side. He nodded and approached the fae. Sitting delicately next to her.
"What brings a lovely clan wolf such as yourself to a meeting of the damned." He smiled, oozing charm. Skull rolled her eyes.

Ayame - 2 years 3 months - New Recruit[Unranked] - - "Don't shoot me in the head, shoot me in the heart."

Even though she didn't look it, Ayame was very much excited to be the first dog to ever join the Mafia. But she just hoped that her being a dog wouldn't make Roberto underestimate her. She was well capable of handling herself and making herself blend in with the crowd. All she had to do was lay her curled tail down and she could be easily mistaken for a wolf by looks. She had a keen nose and even though she was small she was a hell of a good fighter if she did say so herself. Her smirkish smile never left her maw as she finally began to enter into the Tall Fortress, the scent of the Mafian wolves was all over the place, along with some other unfamiliar scents. She had followed Skullcap's scent and it had lead her here. It didn't take her long to notice the Don, king, leader, ruler, etc. or whatever he liked to call himself. Roberto is his name, her ears perked forward as she approached him with the utmost caution. She kept her distance, she was close enough to be noticed but not too close to the point where she was invading his personal space. Ayame lowered her tail to show her respects, she had no need to lower her stance since she was obviously smaller then he was. Pinning her ears to the back of her head in order to show her submission to him and him alone. "Greetings. I am Ayame" Her voice carrying a light tone like always.

No, she didn't trust any of them, why should she? they were all killers and sly tricksters, but so was she, so that didn't mean that they had to trust her. It would be so much better if they didn't trust her at all so she can return the favor by not trusting them.

Ayame looked up at Roberto with slim sea blue eyes, she couldn't stop herself from smiling, but she made it only slightly un-noticeable. She had a normal figure, not too skinny yet not too fat. She would look only a bit slimmer if it wasn't for her fluffy fur coat. Stained with a glimmering black that would almost look like a dark blue if in the right shade of light. Her paws were white as snow along with her underbelly, neck, chin, ears, and cheeks. On her legs she had markings that almost looked like an "X". She thought she was pretty, but her looks was the last thing on her mind. Ayame had awaited her fate.

Skullcap's disturbed voice and along with a strong unfamiliar scent happened to make her turn her head to see who could have rudely interrupted not only the meeting but hear greeting to the leader. A clan wolf? Curiosity struck her. She had heard of the clans from Race but she didn't know anything of the clan wolves except for the story with Vitani but as far as the story goes, Vitani was said to be long gone.

Grace & Dezmayn

Ants crawled across the rotting log, carrying leaves with them as they continued on their travels. A pair of golden eyes watched intently. He had heard that for the ant that leaf weighed over its own body weight. It had to do all that just to get its food. Dezmayn studied the little reddish bodies, seemingly hundreds of them all carrying a fragment of a leaf. How could a leaf possibly taste anything close to good? That was what he wasn’t sure he could really understand. Meat was more of his choice when it came to food. ”Dezmayn.” His name was something he had least expected, and from a wolf he wouldn’t even think to hear. His mother.
But he refrained from even flinching, and continued watching the ant’s lifestyle. ”Yes?” He whisked out smoothly, keeping his back to her.
The sound of her light pawsteps echoed in his ears, and from the corner of his eye he could see her light gray fur, and those piercing emerald eyes slicing through him.
”We’re leaving now.”
”And what about Jade, Kesi, Karen, and Father?” He asked, glancing over to her for only a moment. Those green eyes seemed to become even colder, if that was possible. His reply was only silence, but the unsaid words hung in the air, almost as if she had said them. They aren’t coming back.

Grace turned without waiting for his response, her jaw clenched in anger. Talk of the rest of their family wasn’t appreciated, he knew that. But what could she do? It had been their decisions, and even if she didn’t show it, them leaving was painful. And so that was what had brought her to bringing Dezmayn with her, her only son, to the new pack. She would do what she could to keep him tied to the land. But who knew what that boy was thinking? All he did was watch, and constantly it looked like he was a million miles away, thinking about things she hadn’t a clue about. Had he even been close to Russano, or his sisters? She couldn’t remember him particularly being with any of them, not really anyways. He kept to himself, something she found to be odd. Then again, as a teen that was what she had done as well. Until she had met Kade. Grace tensed at the thought of the intelligent, handsome male who had left her time and time again. The sound of Dezmayn following behind her broke her thoughts and stopped them from going any further, to her relief.
Already he could smell that there was a group of at least ten wolves, maybe more. Was his mother wanting to join a pack? Dezmayn narrowed his eyes, unsure of how that would possibly work out. There had to be a reason why she was doing this, he couldn’t see her just randomly joining a pack again. He knew of her past, and that last time she was in a pack was when she was young – which had been years ago. So what had made her change her mind? Dezmayn didn’t bother asking her for her reasons, because he was bound to find out. And the closer they got, the better he could pick out the wolves, and their figures were visible. You could almost taste the anticipation in the air, the darker aura that surrounded the wolves. And that was the answer to Dezmayn’s question on why his mother would want to join specifically this pack. A faint smile flickered across his maw.
”Don’t speak unless you’re asked.” Grace muttered softly behind her, even though the point in doing that she wasn’t sure of.
He rarely spoke anyways. She closely studied each wolf that was attending the meeting. It seemed that the largest of them were the oldest, and she wouldn’t have been surprised if they dropped dead right then and there. But somehow, even if they did appear extremely old, there was a sense of strength that they gave off. It was obvious who the leader was. Most were dark colored, and one actually had.. red fur? She found this interesting, but hey, every now and again you’d stumble across someone like that. The red fae also gave off a feeling of authority in the atmosphere, which could mean her and the huge black male were mates? Meh, she’d find out. ”I am Grace, and this is my son Dezmayn. We request to join your ranks.” She said boldly to the black male, even though the knowledge that she was one of the smallest ones there was belittling. Even Dezmayn stood over her.

~Keno Sarka Kedieo~ ::Alphess of ShadowClan::

The alphess snorted as the male came up to her, eyes narrowing dangerously. His charm didn’t catch her, but it did irritate her. “A meeting of the damned? Oh, thought I was here for the ‘Stupid wolves come up and talk to you’ convention. Why do think I’m here brute? I’m obviously not here just to look pretty.” Her growl rumbled deep in her throat. “Besides, a wolf like me is very much so damned, Clan wolf or not. So why not join the party?” Keno threw back her head and laughed.

Several more wolves arrived, but two in particular interested her. Keno looked over to the two sisters-- Karen Telrúnya and Jade Telrúnya. Well well. “Telrúnya, eh? Is your father Russano by any chance?” Her eyes sparkled with something that could have been mischief.

~Jade Telrúnya~ ::Rouge::
~Karen Telrúnya~ ::Rouge::

The sisters moved slowly, not that they had much choice. Jade, injured as she was, had to lean on Karen for support. They had recently returned to Caelum, and they had to stop and rest often because of Jade’s wound. Jade had been shot by a human—filthy beings they were. The wound, located on her left shoulder, had begun to bleed again for the third time that day and Karen wondered if her sister was going to make it. She had lost quite a bit of blood and their rests were becoming more and more frequent. Karen was no healer and knew it, and the larger sister spoke softly to the smaller one.

“Jade… hold on.” Karen’s voice still held the soft tone of her puppyhood, though it was now not quite as high pitched. But other things about Karen had changed too, and things about Jade had as well. Since the accident with the human both femmes had changed, and some would say for the better, others would say for the worse. Karen no longer held back her feelings, restrained herself when it was time to fight. Jade was more considerate of others and often asked her sister how she was feeling. In truth the two sisters had learned from each other—but both still had a temper that could flare up at any time… and if one temper rose… so did the other.

They were in the tall fortress and Jade seemed ready to rest when many scents came to them. Wolves. “Dezmayn.” “Mom.” The sisters looked at each other and nodded, proceeding onward at their ever slowing pace.

They stopped near their family—Jade couldn’t go any farther. She just plopped down, leaning on her sister while Karen glared at any wolf who dare give them a dirty look. “I’m Karen Telrúnya and this is my sister, Jade Telrúnya. We’d like to join your ranks.” Her gaze shifted over to her mother and brother. “Dad said that you both left…” She trailed off, for they had gone in reality, leaving two precious family members behind. And what did they get from it? Well, Jade got hurt and both of them changed mentally… that was about it.

“Telrúnya, eh? Is your father Russano by any chance?” Karen looked at the red femme and narrowed her eyes. “Yeah, so what?” The red femme only smiled.

Foxglove Argent

Edited! Read

Quietly, Foxglove watched the arrivals. First there was an older red femme—a very red femme, with bright stripes like war paint on her cheeks. I’ll bet she has a hard time sneaking up on anyone, Foxglove thought.

Foxglove saw the older femme eyeing the company. She sensed that there was something going on here. Something passed between the old dogs who were leading this circus without words. Foxglove didn’t know what to make of it. It was all very vague to her, their schemes abstract and purposely puzzling. She felt like she had when she was a pup and the older pups pretended like they had a big, important secret. They made Foxglove work so hard to figure it out, and when she found out it usually wasn’t important at all. The point was to make you work and worry and fret to figure it out and fit into their little clique.

Foxglove yawned. The only way to outsmart childish games like that was pretend you weren’t interested.

Next was a female dog. Foxglove took very little notice of her, nor of the family of four that arrived after her. Cute little family, and a single mother too. Oh, how touching. Foxglove cast an unobtrusive glance at Skullcap. This seemed like it had been going on for much too long. Foxglove was losing interest. A bunch of old dogs with old tricks and old secrets; this wasn’t what she’d signed on for. She couldn’t see Skullcap putting up with this for long, either. She wondered what the black and white fae was really planning.

Whatever the case, Foxglove felt left out of the loop. She hated that, and she didn’t see why she should put up with it now. She felt like they were wasting her time. If they weren’t going to let her onto the field, Foxglove could make her own way. The old dogs could keep their secrets. She felt bad for Avalon and Skullcap, and she would miss Yager, but she’d had enough.

Foxglove pushed herself to her feet. She mumbled, “I need to use the little faes’ place.” And she walked out.

Well...what a temper. Yager'd met moles with more personality. "Oh, you won't have to worry about stupid wolves here, madam. Fools, maybe." He directed this comment at her specifically. The Don must've offered her a fortune for her to turn on her clan like this. It was actually quite beautiful. "Although, I'm not one of these." He stretched a bit and laid down a ways away from her.
"Oh, and please pardon my forwardness. You looked much younger from far away..."

Skullcap rolled her eyes. Yager was an idiot. She'd forgotten how terrible he was at information gathering. If she knew he was going to be that bad at it she would've done it herself. Yager had about as much tact as a pine tree.

She glanced up at the Don. Maybe they'd find some decent recruits in the future so she could have a decent team. Skull couldn't wait to bring Memoir into the fold...of course, with Keno here. It'd be tricky. Not to mention that Memoir had an annoying moral streak which made Skull's task all the more dangerous. Memoir could manipulate her, Skull knew this and that made her a threat. Well, at least she had one recruit that lived up to mafia standards. Foxglove was a gem among gravel. Foxglove was...leaving?!

Skullcap stood up. She knew that Fox was not going to "use the little fae's place" and she was willing to bet that the Don didn't believe it either. Shit. Skull needed to be at this meeting. She had an idea that could limit bloodshed and spare them Empire the repercussions of those seeking revenge. Not that they probably cared with that idiot Kabolk hissing in the Don's ear. She'd probably look like an idiot anyway. It was clear they had their plans. One thing was for sure though. She was going to catch hell for this later.

"Don, with all due respect I'd best follow Foxglove and make sure she doesn't get into...trouble." She smiled. Well, at least this would by her time to get to Memoir before Keno. After all, time was of the essence and meetings had never been Skullcap's thing anyway.

"Yager will report the meeting to me. Oh, and Yager." Skullcap glanced at Keno. "Mind your manners. We don't need to insult our guests.

Yager smiled sheepishly and then winked at her. "Copy loud and clear, boss lady." With that Skullcap slipped into the shadows half-way expecting to be followed. She hoped that the Don could understand that what she was doing was in the best interest of the mafia, as always. It was a small gesture but a meaningful one. She grinned. The Empire would exist. She'd make sure of it.
