Looks like a lot, but we covered just about everything, including but not limited to joining, fighting, reward store, etc. So get reading, because ignorance will not be tolerated! Out Of Character 1) No cussing. (hell and damn are okay). 2) Avatars cannot be larger then 150x150 and 6kb. 3) Signature cannot be longer then 2000 characters. 4) You may not like everyone on the site, but don’t let it effect the role playing or other players. 5) If you’re going to be inactive please tell everyone ahead of time if possible, or just when you get a chance. 6) Be civil. We understand tempers may flare and actions may get out of control, but try to control your actions. 7) The Staff are here to help you, not to hurt you. Just keep that in mind if they tell you to do something. 8.) The Character Log is there for your use, but we do ask that you keep your characters updated when possible. 9) Taking other Artist images or photography without the original creator's permission is stealing and will not be tolerated! Advertising 1) No guest posting is not our doing! All Forumer forums have banned guests from posting, so we have no control over that. 2) With that said you must join the site in order to advertise and we apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience this may cause! 3) Only other role playing sites, graphic studios, and gaming sites may be advertised. 4) No political, sexual, or religious content allowed! Staff 1) Don’t abuse your powers. 2) It’s your job to enforce the rules. 3) If a fight breaks out, either stand watch or take action to stop it. 4) You have the right to edit or delete offensive content on the site, but you must inform the person who posted it as to why you edited/deleted their post. 5) Ganging up or verbally attacking anyone on this site will not be tolerated and you will lose your Staff privileges. Joining 1) ONE account per person. 2) Please use the form on the joining board. 3) You must be a registered member to apply to join. 4) Your user name should either be the name of your character or an ooc name we can then call you, but no weird characters or numbers please. 5) Your Character MUST have a First and Last Name. (older "active" characters do not have to get a last name, but it would be nice) Newly created or never before role played reactivated characters must have a last name. This is for family and breeding relevance, so as others can map their family history etc. General In Character 1) Understand all characters MUST have strengths and weaknesses. 2) Follow the Breed Guidelines for each Species of Canine. No 200 pound Wolves etc, that’s just not possible. 3) You can have unlimited amount of characters, but only create as many as you can handle. 4) No God Moding or Power Playing. 5) Fights may take place any where, but challenges, must take place in Crimson Plateau. 6) You may be in 2 places at once, at the max 3, so long as you can keep up. 7) Keep a posting order and try not to leave others behind. If they don’t post after 2 complete days, you may skip them. 8.) Alphas get to decide the ranks of their pack. See Rank Rules for more information. 9) Your character must age so make sure to keep tabs on what age your character should be. 10) Ten doesn't exist anymore, but shh Jules isn't going to tell anyone, so le'see how long it takes everyone else to catch on Very Happy 11) DO NOT jump seasons (no exceptions) or even weather (unless agreed on by all participants) mid thread. It's annoying and unrealistic. For example if you're character was hurt in the Fall, they would be mostly healed in the winter, depending on the situation, so don't do it guys. Finish the current thread, then start the season/weather change in the next thread. Same goes for information. If you start one thread not knowing you parents are dead, don't continue in the other thread magically knowing that when you were just thinking about seeing them. Character Colors 1) Your character may have some odd markings, just don’t go over board. 2) Odd coloring is okay to an extent. No bright blues, but slate blue is okay. Keep it semi realistic please. 3) Eye color can be any solid color, so no rainbow. 4) Jewelry, clothing etc, is possible so long as you explain where you got it and understand that an old bandana probably isn’t going to stand up to the wear and tear of the forest for years and years. Character Limit There is none. ^_^ Fighting 1) Your character must be at least 2 years old to challenge for a pack or rank. 2) Take into consideration your characters size, strength, and weaknesses, versus your opponents and fight fairly. 3) No GM/PP. 4) One Dodge only! This is a complete dodge, where you character usually takes no damage. 5) Alternate moves. 6) Set your defenses in each post or else your opponent has the right to assume you’ve let your guard down. Simply saying “defenses up” is enough. Simple as that. 7) Play out your injuries, it’s not gonna take 1 day to heal from a broken leg, it will at least take an entire season! 8.) If you break a rule, you will have a chance to go back and fix it. Continually breaking rules and the fight will be a default win to the other player. 9) You have 5 days to respond to an opponent, after 5 days it’s a default win, regardless of the reason. 10) You must have permission to kill another person’s character. 11) Every wolf must wait two weeks (or one season) to challenge or re-challenge for a rank that has been previously fought for or promoted. This is to give each wolf a chance at a rank even if it is just for a little while. 12) A Staff member may judge the fight if it has gone on too long or an argument breaks out. Challenging for a Rank 1) Character must be at least 2 years. 2) You must have a reason. Because you want that rank is good enough. 3) Some Pack rules may require permission of the Alphas to challenge, so make sure you have it. 4) The winner gets the rank, the loser is now a subordinate in the pack. 5) Fighting rules always apply. Breeding 1) Your character MUST be 2 years old to breed. Rape is the only exception, but we won't be that lenient if your character is under 2. 2) Breeding Season is in Late Winter and Spring, birthing takes place anywhere from Spring to early Summer. Pups born later will not have a high survival rate. 3) Couples may pick how many pups they are going to have, but Staff get to pick HALF the stats for that litter, and the parents the other half. 4) A max of 6 pups per litter. 5) New Mothers will not have as many pups as Experienced Mothers, Old mothers will also not have as many pups due to old age. 6) It’s the Parents job to find role players for their puppies. 7) Some packs require permission for wolves to breed in their pack, just keep that in mind. 8.) Rape does not happen often! You also don’t need a mate to breed. 9) See Breeding Updates for instructions. 10) You must wait 6 days, from the time you get your pups stats, to birth your puppies. 11) No graphic breeding, you don't have to make a breeding post. 12) You must make a birthing post when the pups are due. Joining a Pack 1) You may go to one of the Free Territories to be picked up by a pack or go directly to a pack land. 2) Choose a pack to join carefully as leaving a pack may be difficult depending on the pack you pick. 3) Once you get accepted into a pack, get involved. Get a rank, find a mate, have puppies, etc etc. Leaving a Pack 1) Different packs have different rules, but almost all packs agree that your character must ask permission to leave. Mini Packs 1) Mini packs may only call Glacier Mountains their home, but they are allowed to roam. 2) The max amount of wolves per pack is 15. This is because they must share a land with other mini packs and if a pack is gonna have alot of members they might as well just challenge a Clan for their land. 3) Yes, mini packs can challenge another pack for their land, they can also challenge other mini packs to keep their numbers small and prevent over crowding. 4) Ranks for mini packs work different. These packs are only allowed the bacid 10 ranks, no matter how many members they have. 5) If a pack were to over breed and end up with more then 15 members, we're not going to ask you to kill your puppies, but you won't be allowed more members until your numbers go down. 6) Just because mini packs work differently doesn't mean they do not have to do the paper work. Leaders still need to write up rank descriptions and rules for their pack. 7) Anyone can create a mini pack, but a pack must have 3 different players (not characters, but actual players) in order to create a pack. Reward Store 1) We do have a Reward Store for active members. It’s everyone’s job to know the rules. Rules may be removed, added onto, or edited at any time. So just because you read them last month doesn’t mean they are the same this month. |
