I, Abel Walters, do propose the following. In light of recent events and the necessity of something which at first may seem trivial, a country's name is its own heart. A name can strike fear into the heart of enemies. It can cause revolution, spark riot. The mere mention of such a name shall bring to the forefront our patriots, and sway those who seek peace, prosperity, and liberty. I therefore propose that we name our great nation "Liberius", and refer to it as the "Democratic Republic of Liberius". |

I find this name wieldy and overly flowery. I believe a more base name, such as the Union of Free States, without the addition of made-up words and terms, to be ideal. |

What would my colleagues think of this compromise: "The Republic of Free States" |

That sort of sounds contradicting. |
