You are the thunder and I am the lightening And I love the way you know who you are And to me it's exciting When you know its meant to be Everything comes naturally, it comes naturally When you're with me, baby I am really obsessed with that one verse from "Naturally" by Selena Gomez. So I'm making a roleplay around it. xDD My idea so far is: It's the 13th century, Japan. The date is Two mothers are giving birth to their children on a stormy night. Both are in the same hospital, but are nothing alike. The first is a noblewoman, married to an important gentleman. The other is single, young, and lives on the streets. The first's name is Kuusai, and the second Tsujii. Right as a bolt of lightning touches down, the noblewoman's child is born, and she is appropriately named Denkou. At the roar of thunder follows, Tsujii's son is born and named Ikazuchi. Kuusai's little girl is raised with love and care, while Ikazuchi lives by pickpocketing and theft. Tsujii later abandons her son, but before she does, she consults a fortune-teller. The fortune-teller foretells that Thunder and Lightning together are destructive, but without each other they will always yearn for something more. Of course, Tsujii didn't know what to make of this, thinking the fortune-teller scammed her, and left her seven year old alone. "Lightning" and "Thunder" never knew their bond until fourteen years later. Denkou is walking along the streets, carrying a cute, traditional parasol and her purse. She is alone, but not worried. It is during lunchtime, so not many people are out. She feels a prickle in her neck, like someone is watching her. Denkou casually surveys the area, but sees no one. Little did she know that the stalker shared her birthdate, but seconds younger. Ikazuchi watched her from an alleyway, hiding behind a stack of crates. He could see her purse, and judging by her expensive kimono, it was loaded. The boy was getting ready to pounce when he saw her look around. He held his breath and was crouching stalk still. When the girl relaxed, he sprung from the shadows. Ikazuchi was aiming for her purse, but missed. In his attempt, his fingers brushed across her back, and something very odd occurred. He felt a spark go through his body, and both of them were shocked momentarily. The girl had heard a loud roaring in her ears and a deep vibration in her chest. Denkou whirled around, eyes wide. They mimicked each other's faces, gaping mouths and unblinking, curious eyes. Denkou managed to murmur, "Who are you?" For another minute, their minds were wild with confusion, then Lightning decided to try it again. She lightly poked his shoulder, and both experienced the shock again. Ikazuchi flinched away from her, staring at her hand. Denkou held her hand out to him, watching him eye it cautiously. "Do you feel it, too?" she asked. The boy nodded. "What do you think it is?" she wondered aloud. Ikazuchi didn't reply, but held his hand over hers for a moment, not touching by an inch, and felt a small jolt. He then grasped her hand, blood exploding with electricity. Denkou tried to pull her hand away, but he held fast. After a minute of pain, it started to null and eventually even became enjoyable. The girl's roaring became a song and the boy's sparks became gentle tickles. They knew it was wrong, but they were a destined couple. Denkou lightly held his shoulder and he slowly moved her face close to hers. They both looked into each other's eyes until Ikazuchi swiftly pecked her on the lips. Both experienced the most severe reaction yet, but didn't show any signs of pain. But Thunder knew he could never be with a nobleman's daughter, and he hurried off, leaving her ears empty and her heart still. Let me know if it's too incomplete or give suggestions. (Yes I know I switched tenses in the middle, but I don't care. xD) Also, let me know if you would want to do this roleplay. I'm so stingy, I have to be Denkou. xDD I created them, gawd. Haha. Also, their appearances and personalities are blank canvases, so you can do what you will with whichever one you want. o= |
