The Magical Leaf community is an multi-genre site that wants to house tons of long-term roleplayers. We hunt for fresh, new members to create the most diverse roleplay community. It's the perfect haven for anyone to enjoy as many roleplays as they want with no character limit, an easy-to-use board, a pretty skin, their friends, or just relax and chat. Likes and Dislikes: Likes reading, peace and quiet, and is a closet romantic. Dislikes things being out of place, rude people, and facing her problems Physical Appearance: That's a good question. xD Will be added later~ Personality: A bit of a recluse, and able to keep herself occupied on her own, Jalin isn't particularily social. However, if one goes out of their way to engage or address her, they would find that she's a pleasant, if a slightly absent minded, individual. Level-headed and skeptical at times, it's often hard to breach her outer shell. The quickest way is to bring up her favorite subject: the Library at which she works. Her enthusiasm for her job is quickly revealed, as is her tremendous amount of knowledge. When under the influence of the magic on her, Jalin is focused and ruthless: a hunter with eyes only for her prey. However, it must be noted that while the magic gives her the power to easily kill, it does not compel her to do so: she is fully conscious of her actions and has complete free will. Jalin suffers from occasional bouts of depression, stemming from the fact that she is unable to reconcile her conscience over the acts she has done - instead of facing herself, she tries her hardest not to think about what she's done in the past. History/Background: Jalin Rills was born the only child of a well-off family, and circumstances were kind to her. She had everything she needed and was born with a blissful lack of wanting, so she grew up accustomed to simple happiness. Her one desire might have been that her parents were less busy and could spend more time at home, but she accepted this. She attended good schools and prospered from this, nurturing her love of reading and knowledge and making good use of the resources available to her. Her curiosity extended across all subjects: she eagerly devoured novels, biographies, magic textbooks... anything that was there to be read, she would happily read. During her senior year in high school, she was approached with the offer of a job at the Library of the Ages when she was out of school. The offer was a dream come true, and so when school came to an end she began her work training under the previous librarian. After all, college was well and good, but what better education could be found than that contained in the world's most extensive library? She was a quick learner and was soon ready to take over the job; there was just the one small requirement of the role. She was informed that part of the job was to be the Library's guardian, and she was told exactly what that meant. She was told that she would need to be willing to do whatever it took to protect the magic books contained in the Library - there was a reason only a select few were even allowed to view them. And she accepted the job. At the age of nineteen, she killed for the first time. After a few years, would-be thieves had learned that the Library of the Ages was not so appealing of a target. And in ten years of working at the Library, there had been no successful robberies - and many weights to add to her conscience.
