The Magical Leaf community is an multi-genre site that wants to house tons of long-term roleplayers. We hunt for fresh, new members to create the most diverse roleplay community. Administrator Posts: 520 Group: Administer Member #1 Joined: Jul 30, 2008	-Seabreeze Ridge Grass Badge Contest- - Time until end: July 1st, 2008 - Alright, I discussed this with Zelda a while back, and I've finally decided to do it. Seabreeze Ridge was on our old forum, but I didn't decide to open it until now, so here's our first badge competition! ~~Since Zelda and I were too lazy to make one.~~ You should be able to get more info about Seabreeze Ridge in its board, so visit it. But basically it's a beach that's abundant with flowers and Grass-type Pokémon. However, the Grass-type gym needs a badge to be set. Rules- 1. You have to describe your badge in at least a five-sentence paragraph so it can be a proper, official description. Remember to say the texture, color, what it is made with, what it looks like, ext. Give your badge a special name, and anything else. 2. Don't steal the work of others on the site, or other site's badges. Make it original. 3. Must be the size of a sprite, small picture, or a regular picture if you can't do those. 4. Remember this is a badge that will be on the forum possibly forever, so do your best! Use color and your artist instinct. Be creative. 5. Anyone can do the contest, and try as many entries as they want. Keep in mind- Make it related to: -the beach -flowers -grass-like Post your badges here and questions, and they'll be checked over for the very best. I may add rules, so I'll post when I might add one. Good luck!

The middle of the badge is made of a shiny aluminum metal. This particular metal was chosen due to its property of being light - we don't want trainers' badge cases to get too heavy. The image on the center of the badge is of the beach with waves rolling in, truly capturing the beach feel of this town. The pink petals, representing a flower, around the outside of the badge are made from velvet material, giving the petals and interesting texture. The combination of the beach (in the center of the badge) and the petals (around the outside) truly highlight the beauty of Seabreeze Ridge. It is made of smoothed seashells and dyed in herbs it has a natural shine to it. The main part is in the shape of the actual flower and dyed pink. On either side of the blossom is a green dyed shell shaped like leaves. While the pink part of the badge is smoothed out, the green 'leaves' are given an almost rough texture to them. The leaves, though made out of shell as well, have ridges carved into them where the veins should be. With an organic composition and beautiful sheen, the Seabreeze Ridge gym badge is not only sought after for the Pokemon league. But for it's beauty as well.
