PokéDex Information: These small dog Pokemon love to dare each other into eating rocks. It is an important food source for their later evolutions. Picture: ![]() Moon Forest regional PokéDex #: #15 (#16 & #17 reserved for Jakbakken and Wilkemia) Species name: Pespok Pronunciation: Pez-poke Special name: Guardian of the Rocks Classification: Rock-Dog Pokemon Types: Rock Height: Males: 10 inches/Females: 12 inches (both at shoulder) Weight: Males: 25 lbs/Females: 30 lbs Usual hold item when found in wild and percent: Leppa Berry: 68% Abilities: Rock Head and Magnet Pull Percent of gender: Male: 40%/Female: 60% Likes: Sitrus Berries, Rawst Berries, Rock Pokemon, and Trainers Dislikes: Water Pokemon, Grass Pokemon, Water, and Trees Moves: Level -: Pound Level -: Sand-Attack Level 7: Growl Level 11: Quick Attack Level 15: Fury Swipes Level 19: Sandstorm Level 23: Rock Tomb Level 27: Howl Level 31: Protect Level 35: Rollout Level 39: Milk Drink Level 43: Attract Level 47: Magnitude Level 51: Poison Fang Level 55: Covet Egg sprite: Appearance of egg before hatching: Dark brown with some grays and reds mixed into it, very rocky texture. About the size of an oval shaped largish rock. If someone saw it laying on the side of the road they wouldn't think anything of it. Physical Appearance: As their name suggests, Pespok look like small dogs made out of rock. Being about the size of a terrier, most trainers would probably pass it by for something more impressive. But a good trainer that knows that this small dog will someday evolve into a large Jakbakken, and then the very impressive wolf like Pokemon Wilkemia. Until then, this rock dog's bark is far worst than it's bite. Usually. In some cases Pespok's will latch onto something and nothing will ever make it let go. The horn on the top of Pespok's head is for battling for mates only. And for show. These little dogs never use them in any other form of combat besides hitting then against each other to see who is the stronger Pespok. Some of the older individuals have broken and/or no horn at all, since sometimes the loser won't quit. The plates/bands and the Pespok's anklets will grow wider and stronger until their backplates become one big backplate and their anklets will double in size. Personality: Pespoks usually live in packs of around 15-20, depending on how large their territory is, or how many mountains there are in one area. Their pack is usually led by the strongest and largest Pespok (most likely a female) from the pack, who will soon become a Jakbakken and leave to join the other Jakbakken. This means that their pack is always changing in number, so with all the young Pespoks coming in and the eldest/strongest Pespok leaving. During mating season (which usually lasts from spring to fall) all the large females battle each other with their horn to see who will flinch first. As you can probably tell, the females are dominant in this species, much like clownfish and hyenas. Aside from mating season, Pespoks are usually a peacefully species. Except when they meet up with a grass or water Pokemon. Pespok's HATE water and grass Pokemon and try to avoid them at all costs. But meetings do happen, and when they do, the whole pack teams up and tries to drive the unwanted Pokemon from their territory. As it is pretty easy to see, team work is very crucial for these rock types. If they didn't live and work together, they would probably be driven from their territory by other Pokemon. History/Background: Many scientist believe that Pespoks are distantly related to Houndours, because of their same size, backplates, and anklets. But if they are related, even distantly, then the split off must have happened long ago. Houndours live in almost all the regions, while Pespok's only live in Moon Forest. Or this is the only place they have been found so far. Who knows how many have ventured off to regions no one knows about yet. Current places put in: Mountains (where there are plenty of other rock Pokemon and boulders) Rarity in Moon Forest: Very Common Evolves through and level: Pespok -> Jakbakken: Level 30 Evolution chain: Pespok ->Level 30 -> Jakbakken ->Rock Stone after Level 50 -> Wilkemia Other: Young Pespok love to play among the huge boulders that packs call their home, and try to dare each other to eat rocks, which when they grown into a Wilkemia will be their main source of food. |

PokéDex Information: Some Moon Forest Myths claim that Jakbakkens have been known to eat entire mountains in one day. Picture: ![]() Moon Forest regional PokéDex #: #16 Species name: Jakbakken Pronunciation: Jack-Backen Special name: Dog of the Mountains Classification: Rock Eating Pokemon Types: Rock Height: Males: 34 inches (at shoulder)/Females: 40 inches (at shoulder) Weight: Males: 130 lbs/Females: 140 lbs Usual hold item when found in wild and percent: Revival Herb 50% Abilities: Rough Skin, Insomnia, and Recoil Surface Percent of gender: Male: 40%/Female: 60% Likes: Oran Berries, Rocks, Humans (both teams and trainers), and Huge Boulders Dislikes: Water Pokemon, Grass Pokemon, Water, Places w/out rocks, and Electricity Moves: Level 30: Protect Level 35: Rollout Level 40: Milk Drink Level 45: Attract Level 50: Magnitude Level 55: Covet Level 60: Rock Slide Level 65: Rock Blast Level 70: Shadow Storm Level 75: Metal Claw Level 80: Metal Sound Level 85: Crunch Level 90: Sludge Bomb Level 95: Rock Smash Level 100: Future Sight Egg sprite: Appearance of egg before hatching: Exactly the same as Pespok Physical Appearance: Now that the Pespok has evolved into the Jakbakken, it has become taller, and more powerful. It's two back bands have formed into one hard plate (made of bone and protects their weak back) and it's anklets have doubles in size. The little terrier like Pespok has now become a powerful Jakbakken, and something that many trainers will cherish until their dying day. The Jackbakken's tail has also elongated, and become much harder, very much like the rock that this Pokemon eats. The horn has grown quite longer, and even if when they were a Pespok their horn was broken. But not always completely. If when they were Pespok's their horn got broken, then now as a Jackbakken, their horn will be more jagged, and/or shorter. It's a price to pay for wanting to always come up on top. And just like the Pespok, females are much larger than the males. Scientists have not been able to figure out why though. Personality: Once they have become a Jakbakken and have been cast out of the pack of Pespok's, a new Jackbakken will join the somewhat larger group of Jakbakken that contains around 20-35 members. It is not surprising that when rocks are in short supply for some reason, Jackbakken's will drive Pespok's off of their territory and eat all of their rocks before leaving the area bare. Not that the Pespok's complain. They see the Jackbakken as someone that they look up to and respect, almost like gods. So Jackbakken are usually treated very well. Just like Pespok's, in a Jakbakken pack, the males are the lowest of the low, and the females are very dominant. Their hierarchy is very much like hyenas, in the way that the lowest female, and even a Pespok, is higher in the ladder of ranking than a male. When young Pespoks hatch from a mother Jackbakken's egg, they are immediately cast out and sent to the pack of Pespoks, even if they do rank higher than male Jackbakkens. History/Background: Just like Pespoks, Jakbakken seems to have a distant relation with Houndooms. But scientists do not know when Houndooms came over to Moon Forest, or if they even came over at all. Maybe Jackbakkens just evolved on their own, unknowing that Houndooms were evolving into a similar creature. Hopefully time will tell what exactly happened between these two great species. Current places put in: Mountains, any place with large boulders really. Rarity in Moon Forest: Common Evolves through and level: Jakbakken -> Wilkemia: Rock Stone after Level 50 Evolution chain: Pespok -> Jakbakken: Level 30 -> Wilkemia: Rock Stone after Level 50 Other: Nothing |

PokéDex Information: The last, and final evolution of Pespok, Wilkemia is a powerful Pokemon that any trainer dreams of. Wilkemia are never found in the wild, you must evolve a Jakbakken with a Rock Stone. Picture: ![]() Moon Forest regional PokéDex #: #17 Species name: Wilkemia Pronunciation: Will-Kem-Ea Special name: The Gentle Giants Classification: Powerful Pokemon Types: Rock Height: Males: 3 feet 6 inches/Females: 4 feet (both at shoulder) Weight: Males: 400 lbs/Females: 550 lbs Usual hold item when found in wild and percent: None: 0%, does not appear in the wild Abilities: Rough Skin, Insomnia, and Recoil Surface Percent of gender: Male: 40%/Female: 60% Likes: Humans, Most Pokemon, Berries, Pokéblock, Rocks, Mountains Dislikes: Water Pokemon, Grass Pokemon, Water Moves: Level 50: Earthquake Level 75: Iron Head Level 100: Rock Wrecker Egg sprite: Appearance of egg before hatching: Exactly the same as Pespok and Jakbakken Physical Appearance: The third and final evolution of Pespok is a strong one. The size of a large lion, no one dares to mess with an angry Wilkemia. Built entirely out of rocks, there is not a force in the universe that can damage them. Well, there are Water and Grass Pokemon. But other than them, nothing can damage a Wilkemia. The only vulnerable spot on a Wilkemia is their ankles. Their backplates have entirely gone away, since there is no need to have a backplate of bone protect their fragile backs. But their anklets have grown larger and merged into one again, since the Wilkemia has very week ankles. They need all the protection they can get. Their horn has turned into three spikes, though no one knows what these three spikes are for. With the horn on the earlier evolutions, there was a purpose (finding a mate). So maybe these three spikes serve the same purpose. Personality: Just as their Species Name says, Wilkemia are gentle giants. When not in battle that is. If they find a hurt Pokemon in their path, they will stop and try to help, even if it is a Grass or Water Pokemon (even though they hate Grass and Water Pokemon). But when they are in battle, Wilkemia are very different. They will stop at nothing to win, and are severely disappointed in their trainer if they lose. These Pokemon do not usually realize that it is their fault, not their trainer's. There is no documented evidence that Wilkemia live in the wild. There have been many attempts to introduce them into the wild of Moon Forest, but all have failed. Wilkemia will just not live out in the open without humans. They need humans to survive, since it is humans that have created them. A new program has been created by the PRA (Pokemon Reintroduction Association) to try and raise wild Pespoks without them knowing, and then evolving them into Wilkemias without them knowing, but there has been no report of how it is going. History/Background: The first time anyone saw a Wilkemia was back when Jakbakkens were first discovered. A very well known trainer had a Jakbakken, and was holding a Rock Stone that had been given to him, when his Jakbakken had grabbed the stone from his hand, and within minutes, had evolved into a Wilkemia. Since that point in time, it is been many trainers dream of owning a lion-like Wilkemia. Current places put in: With trainers Rarity in Moon Forest: None Evolves through and level: Does not evolve Evolution chain: Pespok -> Jakbakken -> Wilkemia Other: Nothing Edited by Basset, Jun 6 2009, 04:42 PM.
