It's me again, Basset. And this time, I'm starting a lion role play! Ya, I know. I'm that cool. *strikes cool pose* And yes, I know. It sounds very much like warriors. Only with larger kitties! And I'm sorry this post looks yucky and isn't in navy (my color). Zetaboards decided to make me very mad and kept messing up my formatting. Anyway... on to my rules. 1. Obey all of the TML rules. No exception 2. Follow the plot. Please don't have some random genetically altered Pichu suddenly appear. 3. I would really prefer normal lions. No jewelry or odd colorings. 4. Max of 3 characters please. After that it gets confusing. 5. Have fun. And that IS a rule. 6. Please no lost loner cubs. Those get annoying quickly. Plot: Everything had been going perfectly in the Savannah, Swamp, and Rock Pride until he arrived. A lone male lion who no one had seen clearly, only seen glimpses of. He was said to be fairly large, with a large black mane and a dark tan coat. Rumor had it that the lone male had been seen walking and talking with the leaders of the Rock Pride, but the leaders denied ever meeting the lion. Not sure what is going to happen mothers have been seen to keep a closer eye on their young, and everyone seems more on edge than normal, even the reclusive Swamp Clan. Setting (with a little background on the prides): Savannah Pride: The Savannah Pride has been called the leaders of all three Prides, and most of the lion population accepts that. Considered the best piece of land by all of the lions (except the Swamp Pride), the Savannah Pride lives on a large patch of Savannah, with a large watering whole surrounded by the most trees in the whole area. They Savannah Pride sleeps under the huge Baobab tree with the tall Savannah grass surrounding them. The grass in the area where they sleep has been flattened so much that it is now a soft layer between the sleepy lions and the hard earth. Prey consists of Zebras, Buffalo, Duiker, Gerenuk, Hartebeest, Grant's Gazelle, Impala, Oryx, Roan Antelope, Sable, Sitatunga, Thomson's Gazelle, Topi, Warthog, Waterbuck, and Wildebeest Swamp Pride: The Swamp Pride lives on a very large swamp, as their name suggests. The Swamp Pride prides themselves in their swamp, and never want to leave. They feel that they are a part of the swamp and that the murky swamp water flows through their veins. At a young age cubs are taught to swim in case a flood occurs. Trees are everywhere in this area and there is very little dry land. On the largest piece of dry land the Swamp Pride makes their sleeping part. Surrounded by trees except for the opening, the sleeping area is high above any water and is usually dry, unless a flood happens. Floods are fairly frequent in this area. The Swamp Pride is fairly secretive and prefers to stay out of the problems between Savannah Pride and Rock Pride. Prey consists of all the same animals as the Savannah Pride if they live in the swamp. Sometimes the Swamp Pride travels somewhat into the Savannah Pride's terretory in search of food, but mostly they eat hippos. The Swamp Pride is very skilled in hunting hippos. Rock Pride: Even though a few members of the Rock Pride love their land, most do not. Many times the Rock Pride has tried to take over the Savannah Pride's territory, but they have always lost. Right now it is a time of peace between Rock Pride and Savannah Pride, but it may change with the arrival of the mysterious new male. The Rock Pride lives in an extremely rocky area and has a small dessert in the middle. Droughts are common here, but when it rains it really rains. Luckily when droughts come both the Swamp and Savannah Prides let them drink their water. Near the Southern edge of their land there is an extremely large mountain range. The Rock Pride sleep in various caves throughout their terretory, so you can never be sure where they will be next. Prey consists of many of the same animals as the Savannah and Swamp Prides. That is if the large hoofed animals come onto the rocky terrain. Their diet is usually made up of small animals such as Meerkats, Bats, Hedgehogs, Aardvarks, and any animal that stumbles onto their land. Lions Needed Savannah Pride:
