(I assume it's alright for Sarin to have her Swablu, as otherwise she wouldn't have any Pokémon and she's about to get him anyway.)

Sarin leaned against the boat's railing, staring out towards the sea. She'd online traveled by boat once before, and she had been in an extremely disorientated state at the time - the experience still seemed strange and new to her. She had tied her scarf especially tight to compensate for the sea winds, but she found herself wishing to take it off and feel the wind through her hair. She wasn't sure how long the ride was supposed to be; perhaps if it was overnight she would come up late when few or no people would be out - and when black horns would not be as easily spotted.

It felt strange to be among so many people: she probably hadn't been in as big a crowd since she'd fled from school and first journeyed to Moon Forest. That was probably why she had automatically drifted to a corner pretty much as far away from everyone as one could get in such a confined space.

Why had she come? Now that, she wasn't quite sure about. Suddenly, memory struck her: this had been Gyera's idea! As if he knew his trainer was thinking of him, the Swablu hopped from his perch on the rail to land on her head - in the short time the two had been together so far, he had already learned that her horn made an excellent perch. He chirped happily at her and she couldn't help but smile. Why should it matter what reasons had brought her here? This place was as good as anywhere else, and the ocean breeze was nice even if it could catch only her face.

Conan tensed up when he saw Frannie raising her fist. Sure, he had many a black eye before, but who wouldn't brace themselves if they knew a punch was coming their way? Spook was clinging to conan's head, praying mentally as she watch austin with a terrified eye. He turned his gaze back toward frannie. Regardless of the impending doom, Conan was about to respond in his normal laidback tone when something surprised him. Frannie relaxed her fist. She didn't strike him. This dumbfounded the boy for quite a few moments. Soon, however, he recovered and responded.

"Why? I was just asking a question...", He shrugged and seemed to shrug the whole dumbfoundedness off with it, "That's why most are here. I just wanted to confirm or not if you were an exception." His smile returned, and this calmed spook down a bit.

She had been more confused than Conan. Was this girl plotting a surprise attack? Would Austin follow his master's lead and not destory her, the poor little duskull? So many questions. She'd require a nap to recover from all of this.

Clem glanced behind his shoulder. He swore he had heard Ali's voice, and he was right. Turning fully around to see Miah and Ali, Clem smirked a little. He hadn't seen these two in a while, yet they seemed the same. "Well well. I can't say it's surprising to see you both here. But it has been a bit." The two were clearly perfect for each other, no matter how many times Clem joked. Miah and Ali were just compatible. Sometimes Clem felt a stroke of jealousy at the two. They had both found someone, a friend, who could become even more. Clem wasn't really good at that, so to speak.

Clem glanced behind his shoulder again to see the boat, before putting his gaze back on the two. "The boat's probably not gonna be going for a while." He said, a stroke of impatience running through his voice. He wanted to get this over with. Clem could quit now, since this REALLY wasn't his place, but he wasn't one to just give up. He'd see it all the way. He did feel a little bit out, though. Everyone had probably come here with a partner already, and he was all alone. Maybe he could do this just alone! He and Veran, all the way!

The girl hoisted the purple duffel bag's strap over her head and let it rest on her shoulder. She had just gotten off of the plane from Jubilife City to Seabreeze Ridge, and was getting over jetlag. Emma decided to go to the Valentine's Day festival because she felt like she needed to get over her past boyfriend. She knew it was too good to be true; her old crush from middle school had sent her a letter in the middle of her journey through Moon Forest with David, and couldn't help but go back to Sinnoh to see him. He had changed a lot: he was tan, tall, and he surfed. The girl was head over heels for him, but it didn't last long. She saw him lip-locked with another girl on the beach, and that was pretty much it. Emma wasn't much for confrontations, so she left him a note and caught the fastest flight to Jubilife, and stayed there until she read online about the festival on Heart Island.

Emma hated thinking about it. Not about the boyfriend, but about what she did to David. She had really liked him, and left so quickly at the first sign of something that seemed better. She had matured a lot more, and let her hair grow out more, along with getting bangs. Emma had also tanned a little, being in the bright, ocean town of Sunyshore for a while. The girl sighed, tried to stop thinking about what a jerk she was, and boarded the ferry. She felt like she was looking for someone, even though she didn't know who, but gave up. The girl wove through the trainers to look out at the sea, and leaned on the railing. She realized today wasn't the best day to wear frilly, flowy clothes, struggling to hold onto her white skirt and purple tanktop. Emma let her Skitty, Mittens out of her Pokeball, and held her in one arm as she looked out at the ocean. When she turned to see if the boat was all loaded, the girl saw something that caught her eye. The person looked so familiar, yet so different. There was only one boy she knew that wore skinny jeans like that, but it couldn't have been him, he wasn't blonde. But he has a Persian tail! There can be only explanation... She shook her head, but watched him, waiting for him to turn so she could see his face. Emma's flip-flopped feet shuffled on the deck with anticipation, more and more sure it was him with every second. But if I go over to him, he'll hate me. I came on this trip to forget my past, but look what happens! I hope he doesn't recognize me, especially if he sees me staring..

David whipped around, feeling someone's eyes on the back of his neck. Was that, Emma? He couldn't believe it. Emma, after all this time! "Emma!" he yelled, running over to her and throwing his arms around her. Just smelling her again was wonderful. Maybe this was a dream, maybe not. Hopefully it wasn't, he didn't want it to ever end. Sure, he should have been angry at Zelda for leaving him like that, but he couldn't be angry. Not now anyway. She was here, and that was all that mattered.

"I can't believe your here!" he said, hugging her tighter, never wanting to let go. And who would? Emma was amazing, absolutely amazing. Hoothoot flew off his shoulder and circled around a bit before landing on Emma's head, gently pecking on it. She didn't like someone taking up all of David's attention.

"You seriously think me, of all people would try to find love?" Frannie said, crossing her arms. Maybe Conan didn't know her as well as she had thought. For the first time, Frannie realized that Conan had to be the first guy who could stand her. And he didn't get mad at her or anything. Was something wrong with her? And now she wasn't quite feeling like beating the crap out of him either. Something was wrong with her, she knew that much.

Turning away, she pushed a piece of her long blond hair out of her face, her blue eyes glaring at the ocean. She had to get back to her old self. She couldn't go soft, she just couldn't. Now Frannie wanted to give Conan a black eye. He was making her question her own beliefs, and that was not good.

Ali squeeled and hugged Clem. "I'm going to have to find the perfect person for both you and Miah!" she said happily, picking Acorn up and twirling the Seedot around in the air. This was the best idea in the world. And she had the perfect idea for who would be perfect for Miah. Ali herself.

Miah rolled his eyes. He really didn't care who Ali fixed him up with. He was just there for the battle. Though maybe Ali could change that...

She jumped when he snapped his head in her direction, and quickly averted her chestnut eyes. The girl wasn't sure if he had recognized her, hoping her new hair and wardrobe would dissuade him. To Emma's shock, she heard her name called out, and barely turned her head an inch before she was attacked. Mittens managed to slip out of her arms just before she was hit, hiding behind her duffel bag. The girl yelped, scrunching her eyes closed as she prepared to be knocked to the ground. But instead, she was being cuddled. She opened one eye cautiously, and found herself looking at a blonde Persian Pokemorph. Emma still had her hands trapped against her sides by his arms, and squirmed to free them.

"Oh my god! David?" she gaped, not sure whether to hug him back or not. She decided he was excited enough to see him that she'd return the favor, not that she didn't want to, and lightly wrapped her arms around his back. "Yeah... I didn't really expect to see you here, either." the girl said calmly, struggling not to burst into a huge grin. Emma liked David, and being with him was great, but she eventually got tired of all the body contact, and gently pried herself from his arms. She attempted to shoo the owl Pokemon from her head, and combed her fingers through her hair to fix the flyaway hairs the flying type had created. "Wow, you seem happy to see me. I expected less, honestly, but I won't bring that up right now." she said. "Anyways, I see you've gone blonde. I thought you liked it black?" The girl wasn't sure why he had let his hair go back to its natural color, but didn't mind it, even though she really liked it better darker. "So, why are you here, anyway? Hoping to find someone special?" Emma smiled, winking so faintly and quickly it was barely noticeable.

((Sorry I keep doing that. xD))

"Why would I be mad? Your back here!" he said happily, letting go of Emma when she started to wriggle out of his grasp. "I'm just so happy to see you again. I thought you were gone for good!" David added, a huge smile plastered on his face. Hoothoot pecked Emma once more before flying off and landing on David's head instead, affectionately nipping at his ears.

"Well, I.... I um... I sorta let my hair grow it's natural color for... for you." he said, turning away so that Emma wouldn't see him blush. He couldn't lie to her, so he had to tell the truth. Hopefully she wouldn't think that was weird. "And ya, I came to find someone special." He had originally come to keep his mind off Emma, but now she was here, he was worried that someone else would be chosen for him. And the only person he wanted was Emma.

ooc; xDDD It's fine.

bic;

She smiled sheepishly when he told her it was for her, and blushed. "You really didn't have to.." Emma mumbled. "I liked it fine the way it was." The brunette actually preferred brunettes, but black was close enough in her opinion. She looked around him for a moment to see when the ferry was finally going to set off. Emma really felt like kissing him, then saying, 'I don't think you have to look far...' in a flirty way, but she knew that was totally against her personality. She half-considered kissing him again, but was definitely too nervous and decided to wait.

"Hehe... Yeah..." the girl murmured, looking for a distraction so David couldn't see how apprehensive she was. Emma bent over to scoop up her Skitty, and turned to the ocean. "So..." she started, attempting to break the awkward silence she knew she felt like filling by kissing him. The girl instead stroked Mittens' soft pelt as a nervous reaction, not saying anything.

The redhead rolled her eyes, pushing through multiple couples. She hated lovey-dovey events, especially Valentine's day. She adjusted the strap of her lime green backpack, and hooked her thumb in her belt loop, noticing its emptiness. Zoe sighed. Even though she'd been in the Moon Forest region for a few days, she didn't even have a Pokemon yet. The girl wondered if they would give away Pokemon, or have a place to catch them on Heart Island. Zoe headed towards the dock, leaning onto the rail. She studied her own reflection for a minute, then got bored and sharply turned, walking straight into a boy just a few inches shorter than she. She blushed, which surprised her since she hardly ever did, and apologized. Then she composed herself and pretended it wasn't a big deal.

"Oh, don't worry about me. I'm sure if I'll find someone on my own... And I don't think you'll have to help Miah." Clem chuckled a little to himself. He lied a little bit there, saying he'd find someone on his own. He didn't plan on finding anyone. He'd go solo. It would work, he could pull it off. He definitely relieved some stress teasing Miah like that. It was so easy, and he knew Miah wouldn't be happy and probably try saying something to him in return. But it wouldn't work. Clem knew Miah well enough- that made it even better!

"So, anyway, I-" Clem stopped mid-sentence as he felt a soft push against his shoulder and slowly turned his head to look at the girl who did it apologize. "It's no problem. Though, you really should begin to watch where you're going. Some people wouldn't let you get away with it. I guess I'm just so awesome..." Clem shrugged, but then smirked a bit about the joke he made towards himself. This girl kinda reminded him of someone with a look at her face, but he couldn't figure out who. "... Have I met you before? You seem familiar..." Clem forgot for a minute that Ali and Miah were there.
