Yeah, this is my first analysis. Again.
[SET] Name: "Sweeper" ~Tackle ~Poison Sting ~String Shot item: Focus Sash/Choice Band/Choice Scarf nature: Adamant evs: 76 HP/236 Atk/196 Spd [SET COMMENTS] <p>Tackle does some damage, Poison Sting does some damage and might make the opponent poisoned and String Shot makes the opponent slightly slower. Wurmple's entire movepool is pathetic, and thus it is forced to use pathetic moves with pathetic coverage and pathetic additional effects.</p> <p>The following damage calculations prove how worthless Wurmple is, even with a Choice Band:</p> [DAMAGE CALCS] vs. Magikarp: 28.57% - 33.33% vs. Weedle: 33.33% - 38.10% vs. Caterpie: 31.82% - 36.36% <p>See? At least Magikarp can 2HKO these guys.</p> [OTHER OPTIONS] <p>Nothing. Except every other Bug Pokemon that is legal in LC.</p> [EVs] <p>It can only attack, so...</p> [OPINION] <p>If Metang@ was legal in LC play, there would be absolutely no hope for this dreadful worm. Although there is no hope regardless.</p> [COUNTERS] <p>Everything except Weedle.</p> <p>On second thoughts it can't do much back to Weedle either so, yeah, everything counters it.</p> Edited by Umbrelava, Aug 19 2008, 08:23 AM.

You are horrible at writing joke analyses, I'm afraid. Anything with three level up moves and no egg moves is automatically a worthless pokemon, and therefore does not get a real analysis. Please refer to tennisace's Caterpie and Weedle analyses, as well as my own Magikarp analysis in the future. As punishment for being too serious, I'm requesting a lock of the thread and allowing tennis to write the analysis that is rightfully his. Umbrelava will hence be forced to write only serious analyses for good pokemon. EDIT: Magikarp can switch into standard Wurm's Tackle for a max of 33% and attack back with a CB Tackle or Flail. Therefore he is a Wurmple counter. Edited by Cooper, Aug 18 2008, 05:51 PM.

Still not funny, still no right to take Tennisace's analysis. I'm feeling somewhere along the lines of his avatar right now, and that's not good. This should be locked and Tennis should get to write his. |

In Eric's defense, he approved this, though probably because he forgot that tennisace had it. Umbrelava didn't do anything wrong, but let's let Tennisace do it. |

urm... Umbrelarva did claim this Analysis and Dixie let him, check the claiming topic. I quite like the idea of an overly serious analysis for a joke of a Pokemon... so I am unlocking this and asking for the old style to be brought back. |

I already quoted the place where Tennisace was allowed to do this in the first place, so I disagree with unlocking this. |

All claims were removed and claimants were asked to reclaim if they still wanted the analysis. Ten did not reclaim in time (and has still not), Umbrelarva did and Dixie approved Umbrelarva's claim. Umbrelarva wrote the analysis so I see no reason that this should have ever been locked. Where did you quote it? |

I agree. It was a bad idea to remove claims without notifying the claimants via PM beforehand. He claimed it a week before you wiped out the claims, and Chris ok'd it in his Weedle thread that is now in Completed Analysis. |

Yea, maybe I should have PM'd them all but there is no mass PM option on Zeta (that I have found) so it would have taken ages, and I did post it quite clearly. You did claim it first, but not in the thread, which Umbrelarva did and was approved by Dixie. He also posted it first. This has been a misunderstanding, but since you both kinda claimed it... how about co-operating on it? |
