The Official Little Cup Tier List Use Control-F to find the Pokemon you are looking for. Ubers/Banned (6) These are too strong for normal play. Meditite, Murkrow, Scyther, Sneasel, Yanma, Tangela. Additionally the item DeepSeaTooth is banned. This only affects Clamperl. Under Testing/Limbo (0) These may be banned, but are not as of now. If you want to suggest a Pokemon is tested please post a thread about it. OU (44) These are very common, but not strong enough to be banned. Do not suggest a Pokemon is moved to OU, the usage stats chose what Pokemon get in. Abra, Aipom, Bagon, Barboach, Bellsprout, Bronzor, Buizel, Carvanha, Chinchou, Cranidos, Croagunk, Cyndaquil, Diglett, Doduo, Dratini, Drifloon, Duskull, Elekid, Exeggcute, Gastly, Gible, Gligar, Hippopotas, Houndour, Kabuto, Machop, Magnemite, Mankey, Mantyke, Meowth, Misdreavus, Munchlax, Omanyte, Paras, Ponyta, Porygon, Slowpoke, Snover, Squirtle, Staryu, Taillow, Teddiursa, Voltorb, Wailmer. BL (53) These are not common, but can be quite powerful. Anorith, Aron, Buneary, Bonsly, Cacnea, Charmander, Chimchar, Clamperl, Cubone, Drowzee, Eevee, Geodude, Glameow, Goldeen, Growlithe, Horsea, Krabby, Koffing, Larvitar, Lickitung, Lileep, Magby, Makuhita, Mime Jr., Natu, Nosepass, Numel, Oddish, Onix, Phanpy, Poliwag, Psyduck, Ralts, Ratatta, Remoraid, Riolu, Rhyhorn, Sheildon, Shroomish, Shuppet, Smoochum, Spoink, Stunky, Surskit, Swinub, Tentacool, Trapinch, Treecko, Venonat, Vulpix, Wooper, Wynaut, Zigzagoon. UU/NU (67) These are not very strong under normal circumstances. Azurill, Baltoy, Beldum, Bidoof, Budew, Bulbasaur, Burmy, Caterpie, Cherubi, Chikorita, Chingling, Cleffa, Combee, Corphish, Ekans, Electrike, Feebas, Finneon, Grimer, Gulpin, Happiny, Hoothoot, Hoppip, Igglybuff, Kricketot, Ledyba, Lotad, Magikarp, Mareep, Mudkip, Nidoran F, Nidoran M, Nincada, Pichu, Pidgey, Pineco, Piplup, Poochyena, Sandshrew, Seedot, Seel, Sentret, Shellder, Shellos, Shinx, Skitty, Skorupi, Slakoth, Slugma, Snorunt, Snubbull, Spearow, Spheal, Spinarak, Starly, Sunkern, Swablu, Togepi, Torchic, Totodile, Turtwig, Tyrogue, Weedle, Whismur, Wingull, Wurmple, Zubat. When OU settles the lower Metagames will be fully organized, and there will be a BL/UU merger ala Obi's proposal. OU is determined by usage stats so do not ask for something to be put in OU. If you want to suggest that something is moved to or from "Under Testing" or "Banned" please post a thread about it with a good explanation of why. Suggestions for Movements BL<--> UU/NU are welcome in this thread. Use the following format: [Pokemon] [Tier its in] ---> [Tier you think it should be moved to] [Reasoning] BL <--> UU moves will normally not be approved until at least one more person expresses support for the move. imo Doduo ( and probably Natu ) ---> BL.. good Speed + Attacking stat, whereas Ralts has none.. just a good movepool, but cant be used effectively =-o.--> UU |

I agree with Doduo to BL but will wait for further comments before changing the others. |

How is Azurill BL? The best it can hope for would be taking out one Pokémon and that's all. Lotad sucks too; not a single stat above 50, Swift Swim brings it up to 60 base speed and it has horrible attacking stats. Spink should be BL. 18 Sp. Def, Mirror Coat and a useable movepool makes it too strong for UU. Power Gem, Psychic, Mirror Coat, Substitute, Thunder Wave, Charge Beam, SHadow Ball, Calm Mind and Hidden Power (as well as the weather changing moves) give it pretty good team support options and can fill that hole as a special wall with Mirror Coat. Own Tempo + Skill Swap is annoying as well. |

I agree with both Azu and Spoink (but am not sure about Lotad, SS does not double the base speed it doubles the stat which is much better.) and since no one is commenting I assume everyone agrees... Can someone comment on T_T's ideas? (Natu --> BL and Ralts --> UU) Edited by eric the espeon, Aug 16 2008, 08:14 AM.

btw, just in case, this thread is for BL<--->NU / UU since we are doing OU via usages. And suggestions for bans should be done in a separate thread ~ eric Edited by eric the espeon, Aug 16 2008, 10:06 AM.

Moved Spoink and Azurill. Possible changes (need more support to be implemented): Natu ---> BL Ralts ---> UU Lotad ---> UU |

In regards to Murkrow being banned, I really don't think he should be, sure he's got powerful STAB behind sucker punch, but it's not THAT powerful, Cranidos can survive it and OHKO back with Stone Edge, so it's shouldn't be hard to stop him with a bulkier pokemon like Rhyhorn =/ |

I'll test those three out in unrated before I add my final opinion. My theorymon theory: Ralts~ Great team support, but low SP. Atk and defenses Lotad~ Fast in rain, but doesn't do much but die to something Natu~ Workable. Great team support options, okay Sp. Atk and par defenses. Definitely BL at the least. ~~~ If Murkrow most Murkrow didn't run Insomnia, Scarf Shroomish would be a good idea to keep it under control. Stupid Game Freak >.< Um, bulky Gligar can take on Murkrow with Taunt, Stone Edge and Roost. I might actually try that. ;D Edited by Acredula, Aug 17 2008, 01:46 AM.

Acredula, remember that doubling Speed =/= doubling base Speed. It never ever does. Ever. Ever. Ever. Atryoki, I think that you're wrong there, Cranidos needs a Sash to survive. Azurill should be kicked straight out of BL with a huge iron boot. |

No chris, I've fought magmortified plenty of times and not once has he succeeded in OHKO'ing cranidos with sucker punch =/ Though he doesn't run a life orb set, if he did I'd probably be boned =/ Edited by Atyroki, Aug 17 2008, 04:27 AM.

This is tricky. It depends on which set both of you were using. Going by my Cranidos analysis for sets and running against a 252 Atk LO Krow, Sucker Punch will always OHKO my awesome custom set found in the EVs section [/plug], but has a 5% chance of not KOing the CB set. This also doesn't ake into account the fact that metalkid's calculator seems to overshoot damage a bit. Ahahahahaha at Azurill in BL. Also, Gligar can't take Krow if it runs HP Ice, which mine does. |
