I figure it's safe to have my team rated. I've been having moderate levels of success with this, but I'm not winning nearly as often as I want to. Some of this can be attributed to a lack of experience, but a lot of it is coming from the team as well. Please help me out. Snover (F) @ Life Orb Ability: Snow Warning EVs: 116 HP/184 Atk/184 SAtk Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Blizzard - Seed Bomb - Hidden Power [Fire] - Ice Shard My new lead, and a damn good one at that. Hail support helps a lot more than it hurts, and 100% accurate Blizzards right from the start mess up frailer leads. Ice Shard provides Gligar and Murkrow support. Seed Bomb is necessary STAB, and HP Fire assures Bronzor doesn't wall me. Murkrow (F) @ Life Orb Ability: Insomnia EVs: 36 HP/240 Atk/192 Spd/24 SDef Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def) - Sucker Punch - Pluck - Hidden Power [Ice] - Pursuit My own version of MixKrow, designed to kill off Gligars. Pluck is so broken. If there's anything wrong with Murkrow, it's that I'm not especially good at playing the Sucker Punch/Pursuit mindgames, so I might want to replace her. Shieldon (F) @ Chople Berry Ability: Sturdy EVs: 196 HP/20 Atk/212 Def/54 SDef Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd) - Stone Edge - Blizzard - Flamethrower - Stealth Rock Murkrow counter and necessary for my team. Shieldon helps wall my physical threats, baring Munchlax. Blizzard takes advantage of the Hail. I'm considering switching Stone Edge out for Earthquake, because I like the accuracy, and it give me just as much Fire support as SE. Machop (F) @ Payapa Berry Ability: No Guard EVs: 196 HP/196 Atk/36 Def/76 SDef Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Dynamicpunch - Ice Punch - Payback - Bullet Punch The more I use Machop, the more I love him. I haven't really gotten the chance to use Payapa Berry yet (the Psychic protect berry), but I wasn't liking the advantage that Murkrow had over me with Pluck. Thinking about it now, I realize Pluck does just as much, so I may consider switching to Coba berry (the Flying berry). Misdreavus (F) @ Spell Tag Ability: Levitate EVs: 240 Spd/240 SAtk Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def) - Psychic - Thunderbolt - Shadow Sneak - Hidden Power [Fighting] I'm rather conflicted with this spot, and I change it quite often. Right now Misdreavus is serving to help with my Munchlax weak, and she has been pretty useful in dealing with other threats. But maybe Onix would be better? Chinchou (F) @ Oran Berry Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 236 HP/228 SDef Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Surf - Thunder Wave - Confuse Ray Chinchou's role is never really apparent, but she switches into a lot of pokemon that would otherwise cause trouble for my team. Parafusion is great, as is Water/Electric type coverage. I have yet to come up against a Wooper. |

Chinchou is good. She provides an electric immunity to your team and that ever useful STAb Boltbeam. You have a Murkrow for Diglett, which is good. Scarf Ponyta kind of screws over your lead and I can see a Koffing Weakness (never underestimate Koffing). We can't really rate this team until we know what you lost to, but don't say unless they want their team revealed. |

koffing can be beaten with prediction in this team tough lol..scenario 1 koffin vs murkrow koffing uses thunderbolt user switches murkrow to chinchou koffing use willow-wisp choinchou uses thunder wave koffing uses explosion user switches misdreavus koffing is pretty good but its not as bulky as people think the good thing about koffing is that it can spport and explode when needed to but as always explosion will always majorly hurt something not ghost and not name onix/shieldon |

Hmm...looks a little familiar lol. I think Coba berry is much better that Payapa berry. Murkrow is much more common than Abra, apperantly. |

most Murkrow run hp fight so Sheildon isnt a good murkrow countes but its useful for other things Keep krow give it hp fight over ice for better coverage |

What's with all the random ass items? Half of them are nearly useless (Spell Tag)... |

I hardly have any Shieldon problems with Machop, and HP Ice has also proved useful against other Murkrows. I'd prefer to keep it. Spell Tag is so I can get a guaranteed OHKO on Gastly with Shadow Sneak. However, Metalkid seems to have a faulty calculator, since it only seems to do 90%. I'm thinking of changing to Life Orb. Payapa Berry is just to give Machop a chance against common revenge killers, though Coba is probably better for the likes of Murkrow. |

According to Coop, the Shadow Tag supposedly allows for an OHKO on Gastly with Shadow Sneak. I'm thinking you should go Life Orb, though, Coop. Shadow Sneak apparently doesn't OHKO standard Gastly from battle-practice, and Misdreavus could really use a boost in its attacks. Maybe Shadow Ball > Psychic if you feel like hitting Bronzor and a generally stronger STAB move over a neutral blow on Munchlax and supereffective on Fighting type.

atm your team is lacking quite a bit of speed, something like Rock Polish Rhyhorn / Larvitar would give you problems. I'd make Misdreavus (or change for gastly) into a scarfer, since it isn't hitting hard enough/ walling hard enough and is kind of in limbo. Just to give you some extra speed and security. You may also want an agility passing Gligar somewhere to help support Machop and just to beat off random rhyhorns etc. |

Could BP Gligar be a good option over Misdreavus? It has the ability to stand in front of Munchlax and say no, but I'm concerned that it lacks the attacking options of Missy. |

i think gligar could be an option over shieldon.gligar has good defense wich can make up for loosing shieldon and can also batton pass misdreavus on the other hand is your main special attacker and can sweep a team with calm mind, murkrow can also be counter easely if you play with right prediction specially with chinchou, snover i think can survive murkrows sucker punch and attacker with ice shard.i know you want to keep shieldon but i dont find him particully crucial
