Troll on Dougs and be trolled

This is just my second team and one of my more succesful teams, not my tourny team of course because I don't want to give that away. Anyway any comments are welcommed but if you're rude I will be rude back, actually I want constructive comments please Aipom (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Pickup EVs: 76 HP/196 Atk/236 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Agility - Baton Pass - Shadow Claw - Return This team is baton pass based so of course I start out with the best bp lead. Not only can it help speed up other team members but it can 2hko almost anything but Zor and Munchy, and the Onix I've never faced yet. But unless I'm sure I can kill my opponent before it kills me I Aglility up and bp out of there too --- Gligar (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Hyper Cutter EVs: 236 Atk/236 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Baton Pass The ground bat! Even if whoever Aipom is facing has water or ice moves I still switch in this guy. Just like Aipom if I'm not sure my opponent can kill me before I kill it I SD up and get out of there. Now I have an Agility and Swords Dance ready to pass to someone --- Munchlax (M) @ Oran Berry Ability: Thick Fat EVs: 236 HP/36 Def/236 SDef Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd) - Earthquake - Curse - Pursuit - Return The Agil and SD boost goes one of two people. Most of the time it's Munchy. With Agility it outspeeds stuff that would often help chip away it's hp and kills them. And with it's already good power and a sd I can ohko just about anything. If I'm not able to get boosts bp'd the Munchy then I curse when I have the oppurtunity and go on killing --- Bronzor @ Oran Berry Ability: Levitate EVs: 220 HP/4 Atk/148 Def/68 SDef Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Stealth Rock - Gyro Ball - Earthquake - Reflect I orignally had a Bagon here but I really needed something to absorb the damage from a Meowth and Mag suggested Zor. I usially use it late game once my bpers are dead so Stones aren't that useful but they help. I usually just use it for it's two attacking moves. I haven't set up reflect once --- Chinchou (M) @ Oran Berry Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 236 HP/228 SDef Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Surf - Thunder Wave - Confuse Ray Well as you can see every member of my team is psyical based so a special attacker really is needed, it doesn't get any bp boosts but it really doesn't need them. It's just a nice little spc attacker --- Machop (M) @ Expert Belt Ability: Guts EVs: 196 HP/196 Atk/118 Def Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Close Combat - Ice Punch - Payback - Bullet Punch If I don't pass on to SD and Agil boosts to Munchy I give them to this guy. Really all he needs is a speed boost which is sometimes all he gets. He has enough attack power to bring down a lot This team has done fairly well but doesn't like Pointed Stones and originally was owned by tr but I've made some changes to take advantage of TR teams. So like I said above help is welcomed Maybe I'll add pictures to the finished project if this team needs any help --- |

Read the Item analysis for why Expert Belt isn't a good idea. If you're using a Machop like that, Flame Orb might be worth using. When you Baton Pass to it, the Orb will activate, giving yet another boost to damage on top of whatever you pass. If you manage to get a Swords Dance to a Guts Boosted Machop, it'll absolutely annihilate everything in its path. Otherwise, give it No Guard and let it use Dynamicpunch and Rock Slide, since the Flinch on Rock Slide can be pretty neat. |

If you have No Guard, Stone Edge is pretty much better though... Logged. Edited by Chris, Jul 19 2008, 08:53 PM.

Well I ran Burn Orb on Machop before and I when I faced a skilled lc'er they'd just switch out every turn and let the burn damage kill Machop so I don't know but if you guys think BO w/ guts would work best then I guess I'll go back to it I'll wait for the other ratings too |

Flame Orb Machop is good if you can predict well, or if you have just knocked away enough pokemon that Close Combat/Dynamicpunch will always hit for good damage. I've found that No Guard works a lot better than Guts. Or it could just be that I've got really good Confusion hax. |

If I can atleast get an agility to Machop he really doesn't need any ability to help him out, he's strong enough to ohko almost anything with a neutral hit attack and with the agility he can outspeed a lot. And if I can get an sd to him to than just wow. I'm not sure if it's prioty move bullet punch could ohko a Diglett that I think stilll outspeed Chop even after agility. But want to run no gaurd if I'm not running any low accuracy moves, idk I'm willing to change but I need to see some proof to make me change not trying to be stubborn or anything cause I really appreciate the help |

Some of these teams are very impressive, you should put them on TSU. Here's the link: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Team_Sharers_United/index/ |
