Hey. I'm totally new to LC. totally. I started like 2 hours ago. I barely know anything other than Choice Scarf Cranidos, but that is for OU <_< So if this team epically fails, please say so. I had a bit of help from the Regi League chat, so it might not be all that bad for a new comer. I am open to any and all suggestions and would love to try and incorporate a Riolu in there somewhere, if possible. Also, no need to comment on nicknames. Theya re there for my referance. Thanks! THIS TEAM EPICLY FAILS!!!11!!1!1! ... just kiddin actually, this team isn't all that bad. but there are some things we need to sort out. To start, life orb on four pokes may not be the best decision. Give ponyta focus sash so it isnt screwed by a scarf lead and put will-o-wisp over iron tail so you can pull of a double status. Elekid enjoys choice scarf more than expert belt so it can come in and revenge kill things with its awesome super effective move pool. Make sure that all the pokemon that have life orb only have 19 hp so they take 1 damage from life orb recoil instead of 2 from 20+ hp. IMO, the only reason to use bagon over dritini is for brick break, so if you dont have that then dritini is a much better choice. have fun with your battles! Edited by alive, Jun 28 2008, 05:27 PM.

@Ponyta: Ok, duley noted. @Elekid: Ditto @HP Comment: How do I do that? @Bagon: Honestly, I like Bagon a lot better. So if I put Brick Break on it, where exactly, would I be able to keep it? @My own thought: Would I be able to use a Riolu anywhere? |

for the hp all you have to do is put your IV's to zero. when i ran bagon i would use dragon claw, fire fang, brick break, and dragon dance. so you should put if over hydro pump. if you feel like you need hydro pump to kill gligar then you can put it over fire fang because dragon claw/ hydro pump/ brick break is unrestisted i forgot about trying to fit riolu in. well, even though i just wrote that about bagon, riolu would fit in very well in bagons place. here is the set: Riolu (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Inner Focus EVs: 196 Atk/116 Def/196 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Cross Chop - Agility - Crunch - Rock Slide *made by me:)* riolu is really lucky he has smeargle as a parent because he can get any number of egg combonations that way. after one agility your speed is 30 allowing you to out speed most standard choice scarfers. this set gives you maximum coverage and with 0 hp IV's you get 19 hp which means you only take 1 damage recoil from life orb. |

Ok, thanks. I'll be using Riolu and Bagon at different times. Also, I chose Brick Break over Cross Chop 'cause I don't think Riolu can survive any attacks. |

Post has been logged Murkrow doesn't need to be a mixed sweeper. Little Cup has very little need for mixed sweeping other than the occasional "cross chop for munchlax" here and there. Either make it a physical sweeper (recommended) or all-special. Don't mix. There's no reason to, unless I'm missing something terribly important. On Elekid, HP Grass is better than HP Ice because while Dragons aren't going to immediately OHKO you (none have EQ), Chinchou will wall you otherwise. Curse is kinda (read: VERY) overrated on Munchlax. In little cup there's not that much time to tank, and Munchlax is too slow to sweep. Run a +SDef nature and Protect or Zen Headbutt in that slot. Protect helps to stall out Trick Room sweepers like Clamperl and Zen Headbutt is for non-switching Gastly. Consider Body Slam too as a paralyzed Pokémon is a nearly useless Pokémon in Little Cup. |

Ok, thank you very much. The only reason I Mixed Krow was due to the fact that MixSweepers always do me justice. I'll play around with both sets until I get a real hand for this game. I will take the advice on Lax and Kid too. Also, is it weird to have subs and stuff for these teams? |

Not really; feel free to experiment a lot with your team. Experimentation is the only way to learn what works! |
