Gastly@Oran Berry Naive 118 DEF 196 SP 196 SA Explosion T-Bolt Shadow Ball Hypnosis "Bulky" sweeper. Sleep what I need to, sweep, and Explode when necessary. (by "bulky" I mean it has 3 immunities.) Hondour@Life Orb Timid 86 HP 24 Def 212 SA 188 SP Nasty Plot Flamethrower Dark Pulse HP Fighting Nasty Plot Hondour. Replaced Chimchar. Stronger, with better type coverage. Munchlax@Oran Berry Relaxed 236 HP 36 DEF 236 SD Curse EQ Pursuit Return Cranidos@Focus Sash Jolly 26 HP 236 Atk 212 SP 36 SD EQ Stone Edge Crunch Rock Polish Croagunk@Leftovers Adamant 52 HP 188 ATK 36 DEF 198 SP 36 SD Substitute Focus Punch Sucker Punch Bullet Punch As recommended, a priority Croagunk. SubPunches, plus has Sucker and Bullet Punch. Buizel@Choice Band Jolly 36 HP 236 ATK 236SP Waterfall Pursuit Brick Break Aqua Jet Choice Bander. Replaced Totodile. Even doing 1 battle showed me that LC is completely different from OU, which I normally do. In order to succeed, I realize that I must learn new strategies to adapt to this new environment. But I can't do it alone. I need the help of people who are already familiar with this metagame: people like you. Thank you. Edit: I just got swept by a NP Croagunk. Any advice for that? Team has been logged into usage chart. Big no to Chimchar right off. Slack Off is as bad as it is on Infernape; hell, not even the WALLS have time for recovery in Little Cup, not to mention a frail sweeper. While Hidden Power Dragon and Flamethrower will hit everything for neutral, Dragons aren't the biggest threats in UU and there's little SE coverage. I mean, he doesn't get any other special attacks... so maybe Houndour is better here. Houndour is better here. Cranidos will kill himself with Head Smash as his HP isn't that good and stuff. You ALWAYS need a back up rock move to OHKO frail stuff in case you don't want to kill yourself. Zen Headbutt is a useless move, really, compared to how helpful Stone Edge is. Since unlike in OU, Dragons aren't much of a huge threat, you should run HP Fighting on Gengar for stuff like Dark types and especially Houndour. He's also kinda redundant with Abra; they both are weak to the omnipresent Murkrow. Buizel is really much much better than Totodile. Use him, even without Ice Punch. It seems your team is a bit hastily put together with the 6 most threatening sweepers you counldthink of in OU thrown into Little Cup. Sadly, that's not going to work. I'm not even good at rating team weaknesses and I can see that your team is Diglett and Honchkrow weak. Edited by Chris, Jun 27 2008, 10:49 PM.

the one thing that really scares me out of everthing here is you imminse lack of walls. your relying too much on things like choice items and that sorry excuse for a "bulky" sweeper. munchlax could do good for this team since its only weakness, fighting, is coverd by gastly( who you'll have to redo anyway). make your cranidos adamant, give him focus sash, and put rock polish over zen headbutt, anything you would try to hit with zen headbutt can be KO by one of the other moves anyway. the only selling point totodial has over is dragon dance, so if your not going to use DD on totodial then you might as well use buizel. if you do choose to revise totodial than give him life orb and put DD over crunch. i agree with chris, houndour would be the best option over chimchar. but i don't think that houndour would be a very good lead. so put gastly as your lead and give it focus sash. HP [ice] isn't as nessicary in LC as it is in standard so put thunderbolt over it. gastly isn't bulky at all so max out its speed and Sp. attack. HP [fighting] is far more useful on gastly than explosion is so i would opt for that. gibble should be replaced with munchlax. simple as that. abra doesn't flow well with gastly on your team already( and IMO, i dont even think hes the LC god everyones making him out to be ). replacing him for a priorety using croagunk would be a nice addition to this tam. have fun with your battles! |

U could probably take him down by predicting but ScarfKid could beat you rly hard. name: Speedy Gonzales move 1: Thunderbolt move 2: Hidden Power Ice / Hidden Power Grass move 3: Cross Chop move 4: Psychic / Ice Punch item: Choice Scarf ability: Static nature: Mild evs: 36 Atk / 236 SpA / 236 Spe Its from the Analysis by Kinglerdude o_O. Gastly and Croa ( this ones not sure) with Psychic, Buizel with TB ( i dun think Aqua Jet OHKOs Kid), Munchlax, Cranidos and Houndour with Cross Chop. Maybe u could need a counter like Diglett there, that gets in a Thunderbolt. But Diglett needs to be Scarfed, Jolly ( if Adamant, ur at the same speed than Kid ). ps: I rly like ur PriorityGunk.. maybe Vacuum Wave over Bullet Punch.. its STAB after all. thanks for catching that weakness T_T. he could replace munchlax with wooper but your right, scarf kid is a pretty big weakness. also if he would make cranidos a rock polisher then elekid couldn't revenge kill him. im also pretty sure that croagunks sucker punch would kill him but if he gets behind a sub when elekid switches in then focus punch will do the job. |

You replaced the wrong move. Zen Headbutt needs to be replaced with Earthquake. Use a Focus Sash. Again, Head Smash is really not good as its only STAB. T_T: That's a warning for really annoying txt-sppk. Please spell out full words in Little Cup, it only takes a little longer and makes your post much more coherent. Logged in New Tiers.
