This will be played in the form of groups. Whoever wins the most matches out of their group will advance. Be sure to post results! In case you forgot, here are the rules: Rules: - OHKO Clause ON - Freeze Clause ON - Species Clause ON - Sleep Clause ON - Timed Battle ON - Evasion Clause ON - Little Cup Clause ON - Fixed Damage Clause ON - NO SCOUTING - NO BERRY JUICE There is one other important rule. ONLY THE FOLLOWING POKEMON ARE ALLOWED IN THIS TOURNAMENT: -Caterpie -Weedle -Burmy -Combee -Ralts -Zubat -Sunkern -Seedot -Budew -Hoothoot -Spearow -Wurmple -Nincada -Togepi -Happiny -Feebas -Magikarp -Kricketot -Slakoth -Sentret -Spinarak -Igglybuff -Pichu -Hoppip (recently added) Anyone who uses any other Pokemon then the ones listed is disqualified. Predictions  Group 1: iss988 v. Dummy007 - Iss has actually impressed me with his team building and battling skills on the ladder. Dummy007 v. Dragonite24 - If D24 gets back into it, he should win this group. Dragonite24 v. iss988 - It depends if D24 is on his game. Group 2: Heysup v. lxtab - Good Luck lxtab v. Leviathan207 - Played more recently Leviathan207 v. Heysup - Good Luck Group 3: Engineer_Pikachu v. askaninjask - Jew power askaninjask v. Dubulous - same reason as above Dubulous v. Engineer_Pikachu - Honestly Dub is pretty damn good. Group 4: eric the espeon v. Psykout22 - what kind of nub would predict against eric Psykout22 v. playforkeeps123 -...who's the other guy? playforkeeps123 v. eric the espeon - Above two reasons combined. |

Team ready, Psy/play123 I'm on much of the day. Just go on IRC or shoddy and we can meet up to play our matches. Predictions: Group 1: iss988 v. Dummy007 Dummy007 v. Dragonite24 Dragonite24 v. iss988 D24 should have this. Group 2: Heysup v. lxtab lxtab v. Leviathan207 Leviathan207 v. Heysup Lev Vs Hey should be one of the best R1 matches, but I think Heysup will win this group. Group 3: Engineer_Pikachu v. askaninjask askaninjask v. Dubulous Dubulous v. Engineer_Pikachu kinda a toss up between aan and dub, really depends who learns the metagame best. Group 4: eric the espeon v. Psykout22 Psykout22 v. playforkeeps123 playforkeeps123 v. eric the espeon hopefully, no luck And if anyone not in my group wants a practice match or two, that'd be fun. People make your teams asap, its not hard with so few options and I don't want delays.. |

I'm actually surprised at how some of these pokemon work in the LC metagame. Hopefully Togepi will give good moves using Metronome

Heysup- same reason Heysup takes it, storm force. Group 3: Engineer_Pikachu v. askaninjask- because he likes the Giants askaninjask v. Dubulous Dubulous v. Engineer_Pikachu Aska takes it (ouch 48-27 rout) Group 4: eric the espeon v. Psykout22- ete is obviously "good" Psykout22 v. playforkeeps123 playforkeeps123 v. eric the espeon ete takes it Also, what's with round-robin? ROUND-ROBIN IS FAIL SOMETIMES. |

Doesn't matter which server as long as you play by standard LC rules (with the tournament restrictions obviously). And yes, Berry Juice is banned. |

Static has a 100% success rate, I swear to god. Also, I think we had a bit of the Self-KO clause at the end. Recoil damage with Zubat's Brave Bird. Edited by Dubulous, Oct 22 2009, 03:29 AM.

It does seem like it activated every time... About the Self-KO Clause, does it only apply to moves that guarantee yourself dying (like Self-Destruct and Explosion) or those of which the end result would be all pokemon fainted? |
