little cup RMT forum used to be the one i was down with. sucks to see it inactive like this. so i guess ill post the LC team i had in my shoddy teams folder. might start plying LC again too (prolly said that like 30 times though). vader is a punk sorry if this is actually someone else's team i don't remember making it or even using it so its probably outdated too. ![]() ![]() ![]() Diglett (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Arena Trap EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Earthquake - Stealth Rock - Substitute - Hidden Power [Ice] yeah he is pretty cool. SR helps immensely against fires/bugs/flyings/ices in general, against choice pokemon, and really makes pokemon with LO that much more manageable, especially when they might also have sub like missy. hp ice is for the gligars of course and diglett is pretty cool he usually always gets SR out. probably. i know the EVs are like What? and i look like noob but i guess i didnt really care enough when i was making the team, you guys can give me the real one though, i guess that is what you're here for after all! probably. Houndour (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 74 Atk/236 Spd/200 SAtk Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Fire Blast - Crunch - Sucker Punch - Hidden Power [Ground] probably stole this from someone, i dont know. FIRE BLAST CRUNCH SUCKER PUNCH! they are all pretty obvious choices, Hp ground is too most likely, you know since it is there for the specific purpose of beating aron and onix, but i guess it also helps against like houndour or some shit. probably. houndour is the first of the two priorety users on this team. i guess now would be a good time to explain whatever sort of strategy im supposed to use with this team. gligar and mantyke are the two main sweepers, both having agility and 3 attacking moves. houndour and missy are there to pick off fast pokes and pokes that hurt gligar and mantyke. bulbasaur is there to be the glue i guess, he does a pretty good job of getting me ahead early game, with sleep power and his three move that can deal strong damages. probably. Gligar (M) @ Oran Berry Ability: Hyper Cutter EVs: 236 Atk/236 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Agility - Earthquake - Aqua Tail - Stone Edge this was one of the sweepers i was talking about. i really liked using two agilities because once they get done dealing with scarf user and two priorities then having to take two pokemon that can achieve +2 speed is real difficult. probably. EQ and STONE EDGE are pretty obvious. aqua tail is 4 other gligar. i like oran berry over life orb because i can take a mix carvanah or squirtle aqua jet and then get some healths back so even if they still have something like fake out ambipom or croagunk i can still take them too. probably. Mantyke (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Water Absorb EVs: 110 Def/200 Spd/200 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Ice Beam - Surf - Agility - Hidden Power [Flying] like super powerful. my main croagunk switch in ( i hate croagunk almost as much as vader). hp flying for croagunk obviously. LO is because he isnt stongs enough without it. it could probabl change this guy without feeling too down about it. probably. Bulbasaur (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Overgrow EVs: 240 Spd/240 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Hidden Power [Fire] - Sludge Bomb - Sleep Powder yeah i remember this one guy talking about this, so i was like whatever ill use it. the first time i actually used it was on this team of 5 choice scarfs and that team was mostly just a joke, but bulba did good so i used him again on another team (this team). sleep powder is pretty cool, but 1/4 of the time i dont like it for some reason. hp fire, umm, i really dont know man, i guess croagunk, leaf storm probably does enough to gligar anyway. supposedly bulbasur is normally a scarf so people dont expect it ( or does bulba even have a norm lol?). whatever, he works cool. probably. Misdreavus (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 240 Spd/240 SAtk Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def) - Substitute - Shadow Sneak - Hidden Power [Fighting] - Shadow Ball yeah he is a pretty tight bro too. im pretty sure you guys know everything bout him, what he can do and all that shit, plus im really lazy. but yeah i think that having houndour and missy both mixed and have priority was a good idea. definately. im done here son. |

seems good, although I highly suggest you change Sub on lead diggy to Protect. Meowth / Glameow Fake Out will do a ton to you other wise. ALso sucker punch is recommended over HP Ice, since then you can pretty much beat most leads with EQ + SP. Houndour would be better off with HP Fight, giving you near unresisted coverage with Crunch / HP Fight, and FB hits the only resistor (Croagunk). HP Fight also helps you deal damage to Munchlax on the switchin. It still hits opposing Dour, Onix and the virtually nonexistant Aron and Shieldon. Gligar seems good, although you should pump the Speed EVs into HP, allowing you to reach 32 with one RP. If you want some more power, change to Adamant for 30 Speed after RP, which is still good seeing as you only tie with ScarfKid, ScarfDiggy and ScarfTorb(lol). Moveset wise it looks fine, although you might want to try Night Slash to take on Missy, but thats more of preference. Change Surf to Hydropump on Mantyke, it gets ridiculous power with LO. Best option for HP IMO is HP Grass, although most of #lc believes it to be HP Electric(which hits only Mantyke harder than HP Grass) for some reason. HP Grass also prevents you from being walled by Chinchou. Bulba and Missy look good. On the surface I dont really see much wrong with it or much that hurts it, but opposing AgiliTyke with HP Elec or AgiliChou could give troubles, Missy might be the only thing that can take a hit after it RPs up. Im not sure how to mitigate this without removing a member of your team or another, but if you could fit in Munchlax somewhere, that would really help with dealing with them. Also please start laddering again, its always great to have as many people and as different teams as possible on the ladder

You're a bit weak to water types, particularly agility mantyke, buizel and agility chinchou. If you were to find it a problem I think Diglett is most dispensable |

you should really switch Agilityke to RDTyke as the boost to Hydro Pump gives lets you deal a sizable chunk of damage to munchlax which with LO and SR gives you a chance to OHKO. HP Flying would give you a dual STAB and something to hit both Dry Skin pokemon with for large amounts of damage. Substitute on Diglett makes no sense with Sash, I'd change it to protect. HP Ice is only there if you're really afraid of gligar coming in on you, I'd suggest using Sucker Punch over it, but it's up to you. Gligar and Misdreavus are fine, and Houndour should use HP Fight like MGX said, or HP Grass. I personally would use something like a Mixed Bellsprout or a Paras over Bulbasaur. If you go with Paras I would suggest Pursuit/X-Scissor/Spore/HP Ice or Seed Bomb @ LO because it has a good knack for forcing switches with sleep. |
