Hey guys, I'm pretty new to Little Cup, so I was doing really bad. I just need help with this team.

~~~Team at a Glance:~~~
[POKEMON]52[/POKEMON][POKEMON]155[/POKEMON][POKEMON]207[/POKEMON][POKEMON]170[/POKEMON][POKEMON]285[/POKEMON][POKEMON]50[/POKEMON]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

[POKEMON]52[/POKEMON]
Sox (Meowth) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 236 Atk/76 Def/196 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Hypnosis
- U-turn
- Bite
----------
Opens up the game easily like how a lead Meowth should. Fake Out on everything and if it's a ghost, Bite. Hypnosis for making other asleep if lucky and U-Turn to just hit and run.

----------
[POKEMON]155[/POKEMON]
Gizmo (Cyndaquil) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 44 HP/24 Atk/236 Spd/204 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Eruption
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Double Kick
----------
Now this guy is pretty beast IMO. Eruption with a Choice Scarf is just as destructive as Wailmer using Water Spout. HP Grass killed some waters. Double Kick has never really done anything to me and I would like to replace it but I don't know what.

----------
[POKEMON]207[/POKEMON]
Snipe (Gligar) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 76 HP/236 Atk/156 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aqua Tail
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
----------
Snipe here is a good revenge killer and also good at taking in physical hits. Aqua Tail for other Gligar, Stone Edge & EQ for coverage and U-Turn to hit and run.

----------
[POKEMON]170[/POKEMON]
Glow (Chinchou) (M) @ Oran Berry
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 156 HP/56 Def/148 SAtk/148 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Confuse Ray
----------
Glow is a great special wall against Staryu of all kind. With both T-Wave and Confuse Ray, Parahax 'causes some havoc on the opponent. Surf & Thunderbolt are both great STAB moves. Because of typing, stat,s and ability, Glow is a pretty decent special wall while spreading status around.

----------
[POKEMON]285[/POKEMON]
Weedy (Shroomish) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 196 HP/196 Def/116 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Protect
- Facade
----------
This Weedy guy is really great to me. He's able to stall kill a big number of pokemon and still survive. Playing like its brother Breloom, Leech Seed + Substitute + Protect stall out everyone. If I encounter another grass type, or anything that won't go down for quite a while, I just use Facade. However, this guy has trouble with other substituters, more specifically Misdreavus.

----------
[POKEMON]50[/POKEMON]
Feetless (Diglett) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 36 HP/236 Atk/236 Spd
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Aerial Ace
- Hidden Power [Ice]
----------
Feetless (cool name :D) is just like any other Diglett set. I chose Choice Scarf because there are so many pokemon out there with their own choice scarf and it'd be hard to me to revenge kill if they went faster than me. Set's pretty self-explanitory.

Rate away guys!

Well, this team has a major lack of priority, which is incredibly important in Little Cup play. Without it, your team will get swept easily by Sunny Day, Trick Room, Baton Pass, or Rain Dance teams, as you can't pick off the fast Pokemon. Therefore, I suggest using Croagunk on this team, particularly MixPlotGunk. This will easily take care of this weakness, as you will have Vacuum Wave and Sucker Punch as priority. It could work over Chinchou possibly, as it can take most of the Pokemon that Chinchou walls. For reference, MixPlotGunk is featured in two Team Archive teams, Vader's and mine.

Now for minor nitpicks. Meowth should be running Focus Sash, as the boost from LO isn't really helpful and it's important to survive some hits. Shroomish could be running Hidden Power Flying as it will let it hit the Ghost-type Substituters you have trouble with. Diglett should be running Stealth Rock over Aerial Ace as Aerial Ace sucks in general on Diglett and you need SR badly.

Hmmm, lets see, looks pretty good for a first team. I'm not going to point out any weaknesses because I'm not too good at that but a few ideas. Maybe try using Adamant on Diglett ( or whatever nature doesn't lower Special Attack ), seeing as you outspeed most scarfers anyways, the extra power is helpful. Cyndaquil isn't that great for the simple fact that after SR Eruption has the same power as Flamethrower I think. One other idea for Diglett is use Shadow Claw as opposed to Sucker Punch, prevents you from being set-up bait against the likes of Misdreavus, or maybe over Aerial Ace, seeing as that isn't such a great move.

This team needs help.
3 scarfers is a no. Diggy doesnt need scarf. Give Diggy Life Orb and Shadow Claw or Rocks over Aerial Ace.
I like my Gligar versatile. Oran or sash over scarf. If you dont give Diggy SR give it to Gligar over Stone Edge as it really is only good vs Tailow, Paras and Driftloon
That Shroomish set is the best you just gotta suffer vs Missy. Just try to clear her from the field, blunt I know
ScarfQuil is only good as a lead. Go with ScarfChop.
Set later. Im out of space (on psp)

Pretty good suggestions from Beefy above. However, keep in mind that Scarf Gligar is an oft. unexpected threat, and certainly has its merit. Shroomish would be best off with Hidden Power Flying over Facade as Colloquy mentioned, as Sub MisD is a "kind of a big deal". ScarfQuil is a relic of the by-gone era; it is too easily countered as a lead and vulnerable to SR (takes the punch out of Eruption, as mentioned above) and priority attacks (particularly Aqua Jet). ScarfChop, as Beefy mentioned, would make an awesome replacement.

As for my own, more original suggestions...I've never been a fan of parafusion (haxy-strat), but in Little Cup, this bias goes beyond personal taste. Chinchou would, IMO, be better off with Ice Beam over Confuse Ray. This gives you a strong option against Grass types and Dragons and guarantees a OHKO on Gligar (assuming Surf wasn't in the first place, didn't bother calc'ing this one). You still retain Thunder Wave to control your opponent's Speed to an extent, which is great in Little Cup. Still, Confuse Ray isn't bad or anything; it's just preference, really.

Otherwise, more priority would be a boon. Ideally (if you add the suggestions, you have ScarfChop (Bullet Punch) and Diglett (Sucker Punch). Oh, and I shouldn't forget Meowth (Fake Out). 3 attacks is fair enough, and the team itself would be solid. Regardless of my suggestions/pedigree...great team for a first try.

Hey, what's up?

This team isnt actually bad, as people make it out to be. Priority, as Addie said, is definitely needed in LC. However I would be against using Croagunk, as it doesnt really have nice synergy with your team.

I suggest Mixed Houndour over Cyndaquil. Houndour hits like a mach truck compared to cyndaquil, who will likely get owned by Stealth Rock and be useless without a full power eruption. Machop was suggested, but then your team is a) weak against other mixed Houndour, and b) terribly weak against Missy (moreso than before).

The set is:
Houndour (M) @ Life Orb / Focus Sash / Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 196 Atk/76 Spd/196 SAtk/36 SDef
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Fire Blast
- Sucker Punch
- Hidden Power Fighting / Reversal
- Crunch
---

Use reversal with Focus Sash, and HP Fighting with LO / Scarf. This set is incredible, it gives you priority, and a strong Special attacker. Flash Fire allows you to switch into Fire-type attacks with ease.

Another thing, with Diglett, I suggest you use the STandard Focus Sash set, it really helps you revenge kill more effectively.

Feetless (Diglett) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 36 HP/236 Atk/236 Spd
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
----------

This helps out because it gives you Stealth Rock support, and a more reliable Revenge killer.

I also think i'd suggest something like Munchlax or Lickitung over Chinchou, because Diglett are running around very often, and your Chinchou will likely become dead weight. Use something with Pursuit to trap Misdreavus who your team is terribly weak against, imo.

Actually, MixDour could work great too, even over ScarfChop. I don't "see enough" Chinchou, but come to think of it, with all the Digletts running around it probably isn't worth the hassle.

I'd use Scarf chop first but if Missy murders you like it may then use Dour
I used Chinchy for a while, badly killed by Diggy. Use Munchlax over it. On psp so cant give a set. Lame I know. Im not sure what set, probly any set

The standard is:
EarthQ
Pursuit
Return
Protect
Leftovers
236 HP/36 Def/236 SpD

That's the best for special walling. Make sure you use Protect to gain LeftO recovery. *shrug*

I actually find this set to be better for all-around everything. Munchlax is already ridiculously tankish, and hitting Bronzor is very important imo.

EarthQ
Pursuit
Return
Fire Punch
Oran Berry
236 Atk/36 Def/236 SpD
Adamant

Works great, one of the best LC Pokemon imo.

Agreeing with HeYsUp, though I use Protect Munchlax for other reasons I must say Oran Munchlax is the best overall speciall waller and the addition of Fire Punch is really useful. So yah, just seconding that you try that over Chinchou.
