Unfortunately, I am what you would describe as an "HTML Noob", so, no images, sorry. This is a fairly recent team of mine. Beef and I worked on it, but it's still a bit of a losing record. Assistance is most welcome. The Lead: Kitten - Meowth Jolly Nature, Technician Item: Focus Sash EVs: 76HP/196Atk/236Spd Moves: Fake Out Hypnosis Bite U-Turn Meowth is a wonderful lead. Fake Out + U-Turn is a fantastic combo that helps with scouting and such. Bite lets me hit enemy Ghosts, and Hypnosis, though I'm iffy on the accuracy, cripples an opponent if I'm lucky. The Set-Up Special Sweeper: Pearly - Misdreavus Timid Nature, Levitate Item: Salac Berry EVs: 244SpA/244Spd Moves: Substitute Charge Beam Shadow Ball HP Fighting GhostFight coverage on the special side is wicked. Basically your standard SubSalac Missy, except I use Charge Beam, rather than CM. However, I find myself rarely using Charge Beam, so I'd consider changing it. Mr. Superspeed: Norris - Machop Jolly Nature, No Guard Item: Choice Scarf EVs: 36HP/196Atk/36Def/236Spd Moves: DynamicPunch Payback Ice Punch Bullet Punch While hardly Chuck's equivalent, I'm not changing the name. Period. Anyways, he's one of my two revenge killers, and pretty awesome. He's standard, but standard for a reason. Bullet Punch helps with other Scarfers and Priority users such as Croagunk. The Ultimate Revenge Killer: No running, coward! - Diglett Jolly Nature, Arena Trap Item: Focus Sash EVs: 236Atk/236Spd/36SpA Moves: Earthquake Rock Slide Sucker Punch HP Ice Need I explain? You know what he does, and he's revenger number two on my team, and easily the superior. Focus Sash? Pah, That's For Losers: Someday, I'll rule the WORLD! - Gligar Impish Nature, Sand Veil Item: Oran Berry EVs: 236HP/76Atk/156Def Moves: Earthquake Aqua Tail Roost Stealth Rock Usually who I U-Turn to with Aipom, Gligar sets up the invaluable SR that breaks the opponent's Sashes that plague the metagame so. Gligar also takes hits very well for the team, and is generally awesome. Bonus points for being a flying scorpion. The Fat Sack of Crap: Chubbs - Munchlax Sassy Nature, Thick Fat Item: Oran Berry EVs: 236Atk/36Def/236SpD Moves: Return Fire Punch Earthquake Pursuit Munchlax makes a welcome return to my team. Fat sack of crap my Chubbs may be, but by God, he is the Blissey of LC, with one major difference - he can actually hurt stuff. Return for the sheer power. He forms a wonderful defensive combo with Gligar. Well, that's it. Any changes you think I ought to make, just lemme know. One problem I see is that I only have one special attacker - Misdreavus. Suggestions? Edited by Son_of_Shadows, Apr 3 2009, 07:30 PM.

I can tell who tutored you by looking at your lead...lol. Ambipom is a good lead ![]() The only thing that isnt "Good", i'd Say, is Abra. Abra is just a "filler" there, and there are many better ones. Since your team is heavy Ice-Weak, I would say use something that resists ice, and has some sort of offensive Power to it. On one hand, you could use Houndour, which is an awesome sweeper with Sucker Punch and Fire Blast. On the other hand, you could use Munchlax, because Munchlax+Gligar are the best defensive combo in the game, and it helps balance your teams weaknesses out. Munchlax also resists Ice. Both of those will also help with your Shadow Ball+HP Fighting weakness. Hope that helps ^_^. Edited by HeYsUp, Apr 2 2009, 11:29 PM.

I think I'll go with Munchlax over Abra then. I've used him before, and had great success. Thanks for the advice. |

mm Its solid enough in that all the sets work well independently, but I see little planed synergy or central strategy tying it together. Maybe there is one I am not seeing, but you have not explained it. I mean, there is a good walling combo of MunchGar, a SR user and some priority (not that much), some fast Pokemon (again, not really enough for my liking but can work with some teams), and a decent balance of defence and offense but.. Under pressure from a team with a plan it may not hold together very well. For specific suggestions.. I prefer Meowth to Aipom, Tech and Hypnosis are big and it has Bite to make up for the loss of Shadow Claw. Aipom's main niche is BPing NPs. The drop from 16 to 14 attack is not that big when you consider that you main attacks you are using (Fake Out and U-turn) will get a 50% boost. Pursuit seems more valuable than FP on Munchy, nothing else is very keen to take on Ghosts and you have Gligar to switch into Bronzor safely. I've never tried BS Munchy so can't be sure.. is it really worth the power drop? You can add sprites by using:
around the dex number of a Pokemon with a - then m (or f for female only Pokemon). |

There is a nice Munchlax EV set that people like SDS use, which is really helpful. It's 236 Atk/36 Def/236 SpD @ Orran Berry. Protect is really iffy in Little Cup, giving something an extra turn is never good, imo. That gives you a Moveslot for Pursuit, which is one of the best reasons to use Munchy I would also definately suggest Return>Body Slam, the Para isnt worth the power drop in LC. @ Eric, Meowth doesnt have the attack that Aipom has, its actually quite a bit better than Meowth imo. 2 attack points, or a 50% boost to your two main moves from Tech (+ Bite if you have it) and Hypnosis to replace Brick Break? |

Which two attacks? Fake Out is the only one I see. But I will say, that if you are not using Return on Aipom, you SHOULD probably consider Meowth. |

Fake Out, U-turn and Bite all have less than 61 BP so get a 50% boost from Tech. |

U-turn is 70 isnt it? Bite doesnt do much still, Return still has over 60 more BP. |

U-Turn has 70 BP, meaning it is not boosted by Technician. Double-check your facts next time, Eric. Sorry if that sounds sassy. Meowth added as lead, Munchy's spread and moves changed. |
