[SET]
name: Generic Support
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Psychic
move 4: Reflect / Light Screen
item: Oran Berry
ability: Levitate
nature: Sassy
evs: 220 HP / 4 Atk / 148 Def / 4 SpA / 68 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

Bronzor's excellent defenses and laundry list of resistances make it arguably the most viable Little Cup supporter; in a metagame of ridiculous offenses it can still come in and wall a wide variety of Pokémon. Once in play, Bronzor can throw up Stealth Rock to support his more offensively minded teammates in scoring KOs. Reflect or Light Screen support any team well, by allowing Bronzor's teammates easier switch-ins.

Psychic is his best STAB attack since Gyro Ball is only as powerful as it as speeds of 22 or higher. The Dark-types immune to Psychic are either Uber or weak to Earthquake anyway, so there's little reason not to use it. Earthquake is used to hit the numerous Fire type counters hard.

[SET]
name: Weather Support
move 1: Rain Dance / Sunny Day
move 2: Stealth Rock
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Psychic
item: Damp Rock / Heat Rock
ability: Levitate
nature: Sassy
evs: 220 HP / 4 Atk / 148 Def / 4 SpA / 68 SpD
ivs: 0 Spe

Comments:
Largely similar to the above set, this Bronzor aims to set up some kind of weather instead of a Screen, which is more useful for specific teams. Unfortunately, the most common ways to handle Bronzor involve Water and Fire attacks, so he won't be staying in long after setting up the weather. Pairing Sunny Day Bronzor with Flash Fire Houndour or Rain Dance Bronzor with Dry Skin Toxicroak is highly recommended for this reason. Stealth Rock, Psychic, and Earthquake are mostly "filler", as you'll rarely not be setting up weather. They serve the same purpose as on the generic support set.

Trick Room Support

 • Trick Room
 • Gyro Ball
 • Earthquake
 • Stealth Rock

Item: Macho Brace
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Brave
EVs: 220 HP / 244 Atk
IVs: 0 Spe

Comments:
Macho Brace may seem completely unnecessary, but with Gyro Ball and Munchlax, it's very important. Gyro Ball becomes useful against all opponents with Macho Brace attached (instead of just opponents with more than 20 Speed). Macho Brace allows Bronzor to "outslow" other Bronzor and Munchlax; since these Pokémon are normally used as "Trick Room counters" this is quite important. Bronzor's Attack is maximized to do more damage to Munchlax and a host of other sweepers with Earthquake and Gyro Ball; it's a shame he does not learn Explosion.

Trick Lead

 • Trick
 • Gyro Ball
 • Earthquake
 • Stealth Rock

Item: Macho Brace / Iron Ball
Ability: Heatproof
Nature: Brave
EVs: 220 HP / 244 Atk

Comments:
A more offensively minded Bronzor for the lead position of a team. Macho Brace powers up Gyro Ball on foes like Meowth and provides a nice item to Trick onto unsuspecting opponents. Gyro Ball and Earthquake provide Bronzor with some offensive power, while Stealth Rock gives Bronzor something to do against an opposing Bronzor. Watch out for Choice Pokémon, like Scarf Cyndaquil, whom you should be attacking instead of Tricking.

Heatproof is recommended as this Bronzor isn't going to be sticking around for very long and you might as well not instantly lose to lead Cyndaquil or Ponyta. Iron Ball works on Bronzor as it is already not Levitating, but the item is not implemented on ShoddyBattle yet.

Illegal Moves
Bronzor is genderless, so the following moves are illegal on it: Hypnosis, Imprison, Confuse Ray, Extrasensory, Future Sight, Faint Attack, Heal Bock

Other Options
Calm Mind gives Bronzor something resembling offense, and it's certainly bulky enough to get one in. Rest and Sleep Talk for a mono set works, barely. (MORE COMIN)

I know it is a wip but just reminding you you need a stat chart, pic, counters, other options and oppinion.
Besides that it looks good. Maybe throw in a 3rd set like a band or specs if Bronzor can throw one together. Thats about all I gotta say

Hey, what's up?

I could have sworn there was a Topic here, but it was completed. I dont quite understand whats going on, but anyway....

Numerous times you say "Darks" instead of the correct "Dark-types".

You say Fire type, but there should be a "-" in there, so it looks like this "Fire-type".

Needs to be a Calm Mind set, and/or a Trick Choice set imo.

Im not sure what the big deal about this format is, wont we eventually have to change it to the Smogon way anyway?

Backdoor negotiations :D (mainly some ambiguity with who reserved it)

Is this convention? I'll fix it.

Once they are in HTML one can just put them on Smogon as is, but since the SCMS uses the special format to make an analysis page I think they should just start in the Smogon way. SDS disagrees, so yell at him.

Anyway, apparently it's against the rules to post incomplete work :( I'll finish it.

Needs more bits..

But for sets, adding a dual screen set with Light Clay is a good idea.

Back. Will see in the next week or so how much I can contribute.

when you get back Chris, counters:

Magmemite, destroys any EQ-less versions outright and can Magnet Rise on any EQ versions anyway
Houndour, immune to Psychic, resists Flash Cannon and OHKOs with <powerful fire attack>, can run Taunt to totally make first set redundant
Koffing, beats generic Gyro Ball wall sets as Gyro Ball has crap power vs it and can outspeed and taunt SR/Screens/anything else it tries to set up, hit SE by Flamethrower

Slash Relaxed in as well for the first set nature as the primary option since Gligar, Diglett and your random Meowth, Teddiursa etc is what Bronzor mainly comes in on rather than Abra.

Bronzor is a great lead that can set up Rocks, Weather, and Trick Room. Somebody should make a non-lead Bronzor set...
