Soo, trying to get back into LC, I quickly whipped this up with some help from Vader (okay, tons of help from vader) 1. ![]() Hypocrit (Wailmer) (F) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Oblivious EVs: 114 HP/196 Spd/200 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Water Spout - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam - Hidden Power [Grass] --- On an all offense team early havoc is priceless, and what better way to wreak it then with a Scarfed pokemon with a 150bp STAB Pokemon? 2. ![]() Speedy Gonzales (Elekid) (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Static EVs: 252 Atk/236 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Cross Chop - Thunderpunch - Ice Punch - Quick Attack --- A good revenge killer and clean up sweeper, Elekid is very good at the end of the game to remove any stragglers, or to come in on things like Munchlax after they've killed another Pokemon. 3. UseMe (Abra) (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Inner Focus EVs: 200 Spd/244 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Psychic - Hidden Power [Fighting] - Energy Ball - Shadow Ball --- Simply a beast, Abra can wreak havoc midgame and rip apart things that may be a problem to toher Pokemon. Works well with Elekid because most things that can stop Ele will have issues with Abra. 4. Scorpio (Gligar) (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Hyper Cutter EVs: 236 Atk/236 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - U-turn - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Aqua Tail --- Gliagr makes a great Scarfer. He has good attack plus is able to come in on some physical attacks. Forms a good Scarf Trio with Wailmer and Abra. 5. Whack-A-Mole (Diglett) (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Arena Trap EVs: 240 Atk/236 Spd Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def) - Earthquake - Hidden Power [Ice] - Rock Slide - Sucker Punch --- A Pokemon vital to this team, he comes in to trap any Pokemon trying to screw my team. A great all round revenge killer, just like he has always been. 6. FearlessFerret (Buizel) (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Swift Swim EVs: 236 Atk/236 Spd Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Aqua Jet - Quick Attack - Waterfall - Ice Punch --- Buizel provides priority to this team aswell as decent physical coverage. Not sure if I want to keep this guy, not as helpful as the other members, but can help out sometimes. Edited by TPM, Mar 8 2009, 04:19 PM.

HP Ground is worth trying on Wailmer, especially with no good switchin to Croagunk. It sometimes 1KOs and is your best move against Chinchou. You have a Gastly sprite for Gligar.. its confusing.. I think your team could have big problems with a TR team, most of your Pokemon rely heavily on outspeeding the opponents and other than Buizel your only Priority are the weak Sucker Punch from Diglett and Elekid's QA. You only have one sashed Poke so that can't save you either. Changing Gligar to a more defensive set (maybe with SR?) would help you to take on common TR sweepers like Cubone and Trapinch and give you a better switch against Croagunk, adding Munchlax over Elekid or Buizel means that you can revenge kill things effectively. CB works if you want to keep the offensive aspect. |

I agree with most of what people have said already, but i want to underline the need for SR in this metagame with so many people relying on Focus Sashes. |

Well what you can put it on Diglett if you like, as i have too. My diglett is EQ/Sucker Punch/HP Ice/STealth Rock. Alternatively you could use EQ/SP/Rock Slide/Stealth rock. |

As other people have said, your team has trouble with TR teams due to its lack of strong priority. All the priority moves on this team either a.) come from low attack or b.) have low BP. Buizel seems to be the most expendable of your priority users so I suggest replacing it with... Carvanha@Focus Sash Adamant 76Hp / 196 Atk / 236 Spe - Aqua Jet - Waterfall - Crunch - Zen Headbutt Aqua Jet coming off base 90 atk definitely solves your priority problem, as an Aqua Jet that powerful can really tear holes through teams. The EVs are obvious; Carvanha has next to no defenses so investing in anything other than attack and speed is pointless. Focus Sash is almost necessary on Carvanha, basically giving it a second life. The moves are standard; Aqua Jet for priority, Waterfall and Crunch for STAB, and Zen Headbutt as a filler. Hope I helped! |
