k so here's my first RMT on this site :o : p.s. I made 2, not so sure on the second team... I'll post them both ![]() Vulpix- Life Orb Flash Fire- Timid Flamethrower Confuse Ray Extrasensory Quick Attack Purpose: 1st Special Sweeper, Flamethrower for STAB, power and possibility of burn, Confuse Ray to keep me alive, Extrasensory to flinch and is a filler, and Quick Attack is also a filler that has priority which will b used to: kill an opponent who is REALLY low on health, or get 1 last hit in before I die Duskull- Leftovers Levitate- Impish Will-O-Wisp Mean Look Future Sight Secret Power/Shadow Sneak Purpose: mixed wall, first I will ither Will-O-Wisp or Mean Look, depending on opponent, if I start with Will-O-Wisp, I'll then use Mean Look and Vice versa, from there I will do a future sight, and then attack with Secret power/Shadow Sneak until FS hits, then I'll do it again Porygon- Choice Specs Download- Modest Psychic/Conversion Ice Beam Shadow Ball Thunderbolt Purpose: 2nd Special Sweeper, Psychic takes care of fighting types (which is ven more deadly if Download works in my favour), Thunderbolt and Ice Beam mix for a high coverage 'Bolt-Beam combo', and they are both strong with chances of causing criplling effects i.e. Freeze and paralysis, and Shadow Ball is a filler, if I use Conversion when a fighting type comes out, I will hopefully become a ghost type, blocking their attack, if I* become Electric, it is acceptible, but I really don't want to be an ice type when cross-chop flies in (and it means I will always have at least 1 STAB move), and if I didn't go with Coversion, Psychic is already explained Nidoran-M- Black Sludge Rivalry- Jolly Flatter Poison Jab Double Kick Shadow Claw Purpose: If I'm out when a physical sweeper/pokemon with higher Atk comes in, I will use Flatter to confuse them, but the best thing is, unlike Swagger, Flatter increases SpA rather than Atk so usage on a physical pokemon is more in favour, Poison Jab has a strong BP, and can Poison, Shadow Claw covers Psychics should I catch them on the switch, and Double Kick kills Normal, Rock and Steel types and works with Shadow Ball for very good coverage, it can also break substitutes and still do a little damage Krabby- Shell Bell Shell Armour- Adament Swagger Crab Hammer Brick-Break X-Scissor Purpose: Swagger works in the inverse to Flatter on Nidoran, it increases Att, so if I use it on a Special Attaker to confuse them (though im only gonna use it on a pokemon if I think the Special pokemon is switching in cause it's too dangerous otherwise) and then switch out to someone like Duskull to Mean Look them and do whatever I want, Crab Hammer is the strongest physical water move Krabby can get so I'll have to live with its base 85 accuracy, Brick Break has descent BP and has the useful effect of breaking reflect/light screen etc. and X-Scisso is mainly filler, but if I can land it on a psychic/grass type, it will do MASSIVE damage because this is LC and Krabby has Base 105 Attack ![]() Ledyba- Focus Sash Swarm- Mild Drain Punch Bug Buzz Reflect Toxic Purpose: Ledyba is a bit of an annoyance, first I put up Reflect (because my Def is low and myt SpD is high), then I toxic, then I'll Bug Buzz so I can scout the team so I know if I'm wasting Drain Punch by attacking a Magikarp when really I could score big points on the likes of Sentret, Chansey and Porygon for example, once I'm fairly sure of what I'm up against/reach 50% health, I'll Drain Punch them until I reach a reasonable proportion of health and Toxic is there because Ledyba isn't exactly well known for sweeping capabilities and not only does it do damage, but it works quite nicely with Drain Punch to steal a fair bit of health from the opponent while I (hopefully) stay in good health There's my first team, now here's my second: Natu- Focus Sash Synchronize- Rash Guard Swap Psycho Shift Psychic Wish/Follow Me Purpose: Annoyer, first I do Guard Swap to send them my WEAK Def and weakened SpD, then, depending on the situation, I will either Psychic them, or do Me First (if I choose it), Psychic noramlly, but if they have a type resistance (like Steel), I'll use Me First to see what I get, either way, it will almost always do a make a descent dent in them, if I don't choose to use Me First, I'll blast them with Psychics and wish when I need to Magby- Choice Scarf Flame Body- Naughty Flamethrower Fire Blast Thunder Punch Mach Punch Purpose: Mixed Sweeper, I'll try to Fire Blast things at high health and if they are below half health and I've just come in, I'll use flamethrower, both are strong get a STAB, and can burn the foe, Thunder Punch is to kill any water types that I meet, and mach punch is to either revenge kill, or to kill anything on low health Shroomish- Life Orb/Toxic Orb Poison Heal- Adament Spore Sword Dance Seed Bomb Wake-Up Slap Purpose: Physical Sweeper (:O)first I spore, then SD once or twice, then I'll Wake-Up Slap/Seed Bomb (on a sleeping foe, W-U S = SB). Spore is obvious, being the most effective sleep move and being available to a select few, SD to power myself up while they sllep, Wake-Up Slap is = to base 120 if it strikes a sleeping foe for neitral damage, this is the same as Seed Bomb after STAB is included so it depends on the situation Snorunt- Expert Belt Inner Focus- Modest Spikes Ice Beam Water Pulse Shadow Ball Purpose: Special Sweeper, first, I set up a layer or two of spikes, then attack with any of my attacks, Ice Beam provides a STAB, is powerful and can freeze, Water Pulse is mainly filler, but can do massive damage to fire types and has the chance to confuse them, Shadow Ball is also filler (its the only special move I could see that isnt taken already...) but water types resist bothe water pulse and ice beam so it helps deal with them, the SpD drop is quite worth it as well as it will either increase the damage you do, or make them switch to avoid too much damage, also, Shadow Ball gives me something to hit shost and Psychic types with as well as having the power to weaken a fighting types SpD even more, and most fighting types (especially in LC) will have fairly low SpD to begin with Shieldon- Oran Berry Sturdy- Sassy Stealth Rock Iron Defence Curse Metal Burst Purpose: My first Wall, First I set up SR, Curse a couple of times to reduce my Spe, then Iron Defence, and then Metal Burst them until they faint (hopefully ) Gulpin- Leftovers Sticky Hold- Careful Toxic Stockpile Swallow Sludge Bomb Purpose: Second Wall and Toxic Staller, First I Toxic the oppenent, then I stockpile a couple of times to get some Def stat boosts, then, if I have enough HP left, I strike with STAB Sludge Bomb until my health gets low when I will Swallow and do it all over again (minus the Toxic bit unless they switch), leftovers improves Gulpin's durability |

Ok, next time: Please only post one team per thread. Please provide EVs. It would be nice to have sprites too. And it would be best if you tested the team, at least a bit before posting it. If you don't have shoddy battle, it would be a good idea to get it: http://shoddybattle.com/ If you do have it then come to Doug's CaP server and one of the LC regulars will be able to help you out. Welcome to LCF. The whole purpose of the RMT section is to help us to help you. But we can't do that without EVs, or without at least a couple of sentences about the overall team aim/strategy. Do this at a bare minimum to get this unlocked or make a thread with those amendments. However, it would also make our raters' lives easier to post one team per thread and to use the standard format of: Pokemon @ Item Ability: _____ EVs: _______ ____ nature (effect of nature) - Attack 1 - Attack 2 - Attack 3 - Attack 4 It also appears that you have little knowledge of LC which is fine and we're not going to get onto our high horse or whatever. Have a look at the Pokemon analyses and test them on Shoddy Battle and you'll have an idea where you're going wrong. Then come back and make a new thread. |
