Some suggestions:
Quote:

- Early Game it does extreme damage, KOing many fragile sweepers.

Almost anything with decent power can KO fragile sweepers in LC, it would be better to put something like "most opponents".

Quote:

- Dark type is rarely resisted, and most pokemon that resist have poor Base Defense.

According to both Bulbapedia and Smogon, weaknesses and resistances are not applied.

Quote:

Therefore it is best to use it early in a match before an opponent can set up their strategy.

Maybe change to:
Quote:

Therefore it is best to use it early in a match while all your Pokemon are healthy.

but everything else has multiple viable pokemon in the 80-85 Base Attack range.

In order to counter Beat Up, you need to have a good lead.

Surely you can revenge kill the Beat Up user?

I will consider the typing edits.

Revenge killing Beat Up is difficult because if employed correctly, the Beat Up pokemon should still be in full health when you switch something in to revenge kill them. Thus why the recommended sets are so divergent from the standard sets: They're designed to counteract the holes in Beat Up (e.g. Fake Out breaking Sash or weakening the pokemon, using priority attacks to thwart a slower Sucker Punch, etc.) If Diglett can't OHKO them with EQ (or is slower than a Scarfer and can't KO with Sucker Punch), its a moot point, since the Beat Up pokemon can switch out and terrorize later, or in Diglett's case, wipe it out with Beat Up.

I have a full LC-Uber Beat Up Team, if you'd like me to post it. I would also suggest adding a sample Beat Up Team with an explanation of how everything works together.

Sure Vader, go ahead. I don't play LC Ubers so if you have a better set for Sneasel, feel free to post it.

Sneasel (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 236 Atk/236 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Beat Up
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Aerial Ace

Sneasel is the star of the team. With a Choice Scarf he always outspeeds everything and with Beat Up we can easily crush opposing Pokemon. Brick Break deals with opposing Sneasel lategame, while Ice Punch and Aerial Ace hit the other Ubers SE.
---
Scyther (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 196 HP/196 Atk/36 Def/36 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break
- Quick Attack

Standard Agilither. Placed in front to break subs more easily.
---
Yanma (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 240 Spd/240 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Basic Yanma, with HP Fight>Protect to get the hit on Steels and Rocks. Placed up front since it won't do much.
---
Krabby (M) @ Oran Berry
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 236 Atk/196 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crabhammer
- X-Scissor
- Brick Break
- Swords Dance

Bulky as hell with excellent coverage, Krabby is a force to be reckoned with. Too easily killed by a quick hit from Yanma or Tangela.
---
Anorith (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 236 Atk/236 Spd
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Aerial Ace
- Rock Slide

Fast, strong and spins and SRs. What more could you ask for?
---
Cranidos (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 236 Atk/212 Spd
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Superpower
- Fire Punch

Outspeeds non-scarfed anything and KOs opposing Pokemon easily. Gets a strong hit to finish an opponent on Sneasel's Beat Up.

The problem with the "switch out, try later" is twofold.
1. You team will probably be stacked with high power physical sweepers, so other than maybe Munchy you will find it hard to switch out without losing a team mate.
2. Later in the game Beat Up's power will be lower and the opponent (if they are any good) will do their best to stop you from getting it in, especially before they take out a few of your other Pokemon.

Yes, revenge killing is not perfect as you lose a Pokemon but you will not get swept if you carry something that can revenge most of the Beat Up users.

Both Munchlax and Gligar are viable. Gligar can even Pass Agility or Rock Polish. Not everything is bulky, but there's enough bulk to work around getting things in. Geodude and Rhyhorn have a few undesirable weaknesses but are also viable for physical defense.

Krabby and Anorith also have passable defense. Special Defense is really the only thing lacking in decent amounts, since so few pokemon possess High Atk/High SDef. Magby barely qualifies. Shuppet can eat Close Combat, the bane of most Beat Up users, while still contributing to Beat Up's damage. and so forth. Heck, use Koffing if you want, it still has 65 Base Attack.

Point is, A Beat Up Team and Bulky team members are not mutually exclusive. I will mention revenge kills, however.
