1) This rule list is not total, the excuse 'it wasn't on the rules list' isn't applicable. This is not a democracy. Common sense applies at all times, remember that. 2) Try to respect each other. Don't call each other names unless it is an obvious joke. 3) Don't reply to a thread just to say "it's shit". 4) Don't troll. IE: Don't reply to a thread about "The Simpsons" to say that "Family Guy" is better. 5) If someone does something wrong, report them. Flaming or attacking them will get you banned. 6) Don't reply to threads that are made with the intent of the user getting banned (ban me threads). 7) Don't post porn, or any type of illegal material. 8) Purposely breaking any of these rules with an alternate account will get all your accounts permabanned. 9) Use descrïptive thread titles. Things like 'Help' or 'Something I saw..' aren't descrïptive. 10) Do not make parody threads. 11) If you're posting a link to a news story say why and/or state your opinion. Do not just post links. 12) Do not post things like 'this is against the rules' or 'wrong forum' if it's already been posted, they probably heard the first person. 13) Spell properly. This isn't MSN or AIM. 14) Do not reply to threads just to reply. Replying with things like '.....', '?' '=)' or 'what' will get you banned. 15) If you're replying to a thread asking for help, HELP OR DO NOT POST. 16) Advertising your website is fine as long as it's relevant. 17) Don't steal stuff and claim it as yours. Don't use this rule as an excuse to bitch if you're not credited for your work. They need to claim that they made it. 18) Read the thread before replying. If you reply to a thread based on thread title you will get banned. 19) DO NOT ACCESS THE FORUMS VIA A PROXY. If you're viewing the site through a proxy and you have the same IP as someone using that proxy to spam you will also get permabanned. I don't care if your school blocks the forums. 20) No making topics just so you can complain about something/someone. 21) This is not an obituary forum. Don't post threads about how your relative/friend/cat died. 22) Do not post in a topic more than a month old, unless you're the author of the topic OR you have something important to say. We don't care if you think the sprite is cool or crappy. 23) Do not make another account (unless authorised to), or the all accounts will be banned. 24) Blindly defend my Honor. |
