Who do you think is going to win? And why? I'm curious to know. |

Yeah, I could vote and I probably will just because of the thousands of e-fliers that will be up FORCING me to register to vote. But I assume Huckabee or Obama. This race is pretty effed up. Because our strongest candidates are extremely diverse. Huckabee is seemingly the only viable caucasian candidate left. I can see race/tradition being the overwhelming factor this year. |

Well, it seems to me that the diversity is on the Democrats' side, so the Republicans aren't really affected. Aside from Mike Huckabee, I would have to pick John McCain. I'm not liking Mitt Romney too much because of his campaign against Huckabee. For the Democrats, it's all well and good that there's a black man (Obama) and a woman (Clinton) going for president. But I think I'd rather take John Edwards or someone else over these two. Although I like Obama's speech about being a United States of America rather than being split into red America and blue America. And Hillary coming out with a more personal approach in her campaign actually seems to be serving her well as she won two states for the Democrats already. We'll have to wait until later on this year to see which Democrat and Republican have won the overall vote of the people in all the states, and find out from there. Whoever we vote for to be our next president, hopefully he (or she) will actually do as promised and take our troops out of Iraq. |

I don't know. It was just a random guess. But seriously, Hillary may be the best equipped to become president. Her husband was already president for two terms before George W. Bush was president, so he has some familiarity with the position. And in this way he can help her decide which issues to tackle and which to leave for a less urgent time. Aside from the Cabinet, that is. Being a Senator, Hillary has experience with politics herself, and I like the more personal approach she has taken with her campaign. For the Republicans, I'm undecided between Mike Huckabee and John McCain. I like both of these candidates, and they both have plenty of experience with politics under their belts. Mitt Romney does too, but I didn't like his smear campaign against Huckabee in Iowa. |
